perfect location in town, at the start of the route to the castle. The most gracious hosts are what make this property. We were treats to coffee and grappa on arrival, and a fantastic breakfast on the balcony the following morning. The gentleman and his wife could not have done more. thank you.

This is a perfect example of excellent service.The owners are lovely people, really caring for their customers and making sure your stay fulfils your expectations from the first till the last minute. The location is very convenient In the center, with parking provided and close to restaurants with tasty local food. The rooms really make you feel like you’re staying in a castle, with very nicely finished interior and furniture and very clean. King breakfast (we were happy to discover that they also provide mountain tea if you prefer instead of coffee) We will definitively come back here!

The hospitality of the owners was exceptional. Breakfast was extraordinary, tasty and homemade staff. Location was close to fortress, old city, restaurants, pedestrian way. From the terrace where is served breakfast, visible fortress and part of old town with it's houses, one above each. Central location, nice rooms, comfortable bed, super clean, good breakfast while watching the world go by from the veranda, parking in front of the hotel. The father is an amazing and super kind person - will offer you wine and raki and help you with laundry etc. A family run place with much warmth and care. Highly recommended.

In booking said there was parking but actually there is public parking available on the street only.

The owner of the hotel is super friendly, he doesn't speak English but we found a way to communicate. He was very attentive and willing to help. The hotel is well located, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good.

If you stay in Berat, then I absolutely recommend staying in Master Hotel. The hotel really suits the environment. The interior design of the room was well thought through, authentic and cute, the room was cozy and had everything advertised. Also, the breakfast was very nice (eggs, fruit, breakfast, tea, coffee etc). I give the host and his wife 10/10 for hospitality and welcoming reception and helpfulness. They seem very kind people. It made my rainy stay in Berat a lot better.

We were here in October. we didn’t like the bedding. We had a poly cotton quilt cover and inside was a synthetic slimy quilt. The shower room is very awkward to move in.

The bedroom was very attractive in a traditional way. it was very clean. Our room which was a deluxe double with a balcony had a fridge. it was in the attic and part of the room had a low ceiling.

The tv and wifi were temporarily not working because of the construction. But who needs them anyway when you have a city to explore!

Senior Suliman and Seniora Suzanna are some of the kindest and friendliest hosts we've ever had. I got really sick on my first night and Suzanna took care of me like her own child. She kept checking on me every 15min bringing me hot tea, fruits and medicine. Senior Suliman offered us a ride to the bus station for free that could've cost us 500 Lek. Other than that, the location is perfect close to restaurants, the castle, museum, supermarket, etc.. Thank you so much for everything! You are true angels!!

There was some noise right in front due to some city constructions, but it should be temporary. Paying by credit card was also not possible.

Great stay, great breakfast, super clean, wonderfully decorated including all the woodwork done by the owner. The owners are a very nice couple from Berat and will make you feel right at home.

Perfect location, super friendly host, very comfortable beds. There's a small fridge and a hairdryer available in the room. When we arrived late at night the host was waiting for us outside the hotel and showed us a place to park our car -right next to the hotel. Very nice breakfast which you get on a balcony overlooking the old town and a castle.

Beautiful location within walking distance of every important sight in Berat. The host showed us true Albanian hospitality and made us feel like we were visiting family. The host was extremely passionate about his hotel and the guest experience, willing to help with any questions we had. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berat, if we ever come back to Albania we would book this hotel again without a doubt. We will never forget the amazing time we had here during our stay!

From the moment we arrived and were guided into our parking space which had been reserved in front of the hotel, every service that could possibly be offered was performed with such warmth and kindness. The hotel was a traditional building and the ceiling in our room was wood-panelled. The terrace looked onto the white buildings of Mangalem and the hotel was right in the historic district, at the bottom of the road to the castle. We bought a bottle of wine to enjoy on the terrace and it was placed in the fridge ready for us. It was served alongside a complimentary platter of cut fruit. Breakfast was fabulous too. Fresh fruit and freshly cooked eggs of your choice and a sausage alongside the usual tomato and cucumber and a piece of cheese. Fresh bread too, of course. I can't commend this hotel enough, we were completely charmed.

There was a noisy restoration project taking place directly across from the hotel. it’s scheduled to finish in Jan 2023 but we were unaware.

The owner and his wife were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. the room was lovely with a small balcony overlooking the beautiful town of Berat.
