Little more work for warming the rooms

Nothing - bathroom was a bit cold compared to rest of the chalet but didn’t really impact my stay.

Loved the cabin, well equipped and heating was great given the cold and first snow of the season! I finished the hike from Theth in the dark and Bes came to collect me, and he also took me to the ferry in the morning in the dark! He and Ida were both so helpful, thanks a lot! Packed lunch given the early departure was also brilliant.

Radiator in our room didn’t seem to be working, so it got a bit chilly, but there were plenty of blankets available to make it a comfortable stay.

Comfortable, clean, & quiet after a long day of hiking from Theth! Staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed for dinner, but there were other guest houses just down the road to eat at. Would stay again.

The bathroom smelled really bad (might have been temporary). The dining area was not very cozy and quite bad acoustics. The place felt a bit overpriced.

The location is perfect! The valley of Valbona is right next to the hotel and the view is amazing!

Breakfast is included but starts at 8am. Too bad because we were doing the Valbonë-Theth hike and wanted to leave early. We thought we could have dinner there but the restaurant was closed. It was not a problem though, there are some places to eat about 15min away by walking.

Wonderful individual cottage in the middle of the mountains. Amazing view. Very comfortable. Great place for a romantic mountain stay. Felt brand new. The nicest bathroom we had in Albania.

I thought it is a hotel but it is most likely an excellent guest house not a real hotel in service and other room necessity .

1/ The description and the photos did not correspond to the room that we were first put in (they told us that now they have changed it and the photos and rooms correspond). The double room that we were given was really small, with no place to put or hang our stuff, there was also no balcony as was shown on the photos. They have upgraded us for free to the bigger room with balcony (triple room), which was 10 times nicer and cozier. 2/ There was no shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, only the handsoap. It wouldn't be a problem in any other place, but there are no shops in Valbona so it was kinda an issue for me. Luckily, my partner had a multi-use soap so I was using it for everything. So, be prepared that you have to bring your own shampoo and soap, there are no toiletries issued by a hotel. 3/ The is no air-conditioner in the rooms, which can be a problem as it gets really hot in the summer. As we have traveled in June, the nights were pretty cool so in the end we did not suffer too much from the heat, but I can imagine that in July or August it can be a real problem.

1/ The hotel was just recently renovated, so everything is clean and nice. The bed is really confortable. The bathroom is spacious and nice. 2/ The staff was really-really friendly and helpful. They went all the way to make our stay there as comfortable as possible. 3/ The breakfast was delicious. 4/ The view is incredible (as almost everywhere in Valbona) 5/ It's really well situated if you want to hike to Theth or go to mount Rosit.

There was noise at night of some rodent or animal behind the walls and that disturbed for almost 1-2 hours.

We arrived here unwell and the staff were so helpful. They even dried our wet clothes for us. The room was comfortable, heaps of spare blankets and the bathroom was amazing

The main thing: we had no water and no electricity for several hours on our first day. And nobody was present to explain what was going on. Later someone told us they were fixing the problem, but there was still no water for a long time. We also had no electricity part of the second night and the morning of the second day and the morning of day 3 (when we finally could leave this accommodation). If there isn't electricity in the village, there's no water in the room, we were told. But the next morning, there was electricity in the main house (where the reception is), but not in our room. We did have water, but since they had told us that when there's no electricity, there's no water, we were very stressed, not knowing if the water in the room was about to stop flowing. Also, if there was electricity in the main building, why wasn't there electricity in the rooms? I asked and was told there was a problem only in the rooms, but they had fixed it. If they had fixed it, why wasn't there still electricity in the room? The next morning, same thing: electricity for them, but not for us. So, you're preparing to go hiking the whole day, but you can't charge your phone, camera, etc in the room. She also told me there was a generator. If there's a generator, how come we had no water the first day? I can understand that there's a problem with the electricity of the whole village. But other places had water, because they had generators for the water pumps. And when you see that the main building has electricity, but your room doesn't, it's hard to understand. So, the first night we arrived from a long day hiking and had to go to another hotel and pay there to wash our hands and faces, go to the toilet, fill up our bottles of water, brush our teeth. I had booked another night and couldn't cancel, so we stayed two nights.

The room is new and good size.

I made a last-minute booking and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The deal was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. Visiting Valbona for the first time, I couldn't have asked for a better location. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.
