I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hostel. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The newly renovated facilities added a modern touch to the overall charm. I particularly appreciated the designated work area, complete with a functional desk and reliable Wi-Fi, making it convenient for business travelers like myself. The presence of air conditioning was a great relief during hot days. A standout feature of my stay was the Friday barbecue. It was a delightful opportunity to mingle with other guests and enjoy delicious food in a sociable setting. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s been a really pleasant stay, the treatment of the staff has been incredible and the willingness to help just amazing! 😊 I forgot my sunglasses in the hostel and they took them to the bus driver of Shkodra so that he could bring them back to me in Tirana!! I am really thankful for that. Also they gave us really good tips of where to eat and what to visit. The location is perfect, very close to the center, and there is no noise around, you can get good sleep. I would definitely repeat. 👍

Such a great hostel in the perfect location. The beds all have privacy curtains, individual lights and power sockets and there is a common space outside of the rooms also. Erjon and John, the owner and manager are both very friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome in the hostel. I would definitely recommend this hostel if you want somewhere to feel safe and comfortable during your stay in Shkodra.

Communal area cannot be used on checkout but as it is small I understand why. No free coffee which seems not uncommon in Albania.

They have a policy of charging a small amount for storing your backpack after checkout, which is fair enough When I returned to collect my backpack around midday, I was made to feel pretty unwelcome Most backpacker hostels are pretty relaxed about letting guests hang around a while after having checked out I felt like I was being given my backpack and unceremoniously slung straight out Sure, I understand the hostel is within its rights to do that, but it left a bad feeling for me

There were very strict rules. Owner/Receptionist was a nice person, but rules enforced. I was working as a remotely, I checked out of the room and when I wanted to work in the common area, he stated that we had to leave the hostel at 11 o'clock. I don't think it was very nice. Actually rules are normal but many rules seem to reduce intimacy You can see the rules.

Very small minor detail: Place is full of "don't do this and that" signs, even though all the rules could be on one paper. May create a feeling that everything is denied even though all is just common sense rules :D

The staff was very friendly and the hostel is very closed to the center. You can also walk to the castle in 45 minutes. It can be difficult to see the hostel door at first sight. Especially if you arrive at the evening. Ask people around if you don't find

Although the location is as shown on the map there is no sign or anything to indicate which of the buildings on this side street is the hostel (it's the one on the right). It's such a strange & easily fixable problem for a place to have.

The owner could be more hospitable, there is a charge for towels, coffee and leaving bags for even a few hours. Guests are not permitted to stay even in the common area after check out time.

Beds are comfortable with curtains, power and lamps. Dorm is overall quiet and good lockers are provided. Kitchen is basic but functional, good refrigerator space

The accommodation is very close to the center, restaurants and supermarkets. John was very kind and helpful, he reserved four us the transport to get in Theth, and he gave us advised about the city. The place is simple but with all the necessary to be comfortable for a very good price and very clean. We recomend to stay in Shkodra hostel!
