The Hostel is really well located in a quiet neighbourhood to a walking distance from the main attractions in Tirana. The hostel is well equippped and everything is brand new. Owner is really friendly and can help you with any doubt about your stay in Tirana and Albania. All in all, it is an excellent option value for money. Really recommendable!

Great location! Everything is brand new and a sparkling clean in hostel. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Just what I needed. It's not just a hostel. It's a place with it's own ambience, style and atmosphere. Owner Dolsin is very helpful. Everything u need : shops, cafes, bus stops etc...just around the corner!

Maybe not a bad thing but hostel was empty. First night I was there only 1 other person in the hostel. Second night was a total of 4 others. I didn’t mind it though! No free breakfast / coffee.

The hostel is very new so much so that it has that new smell. Each bed has a plug and a light - perfect for charging your things overnight. 10 minute walk from the square. The host helped me book an early taxi the next day. The dog is very cute, it will not jump or bark at you but just wag it’s tail a lot!

We had a great stay. Great hostel with an even better host. Superrelaxed and clean showers, good beds, personal lockers, chill garden. Located very near the city center. Perfect value for money. We recommand this hostel to everyone visiting Tirana!

Adding hooks in the shower will be handy.

The owner is very nice, I arrived at midnight and he's there for me. If you arrived from the airport, can contact the owner for arrange a taxi, around 10€ that can save you troubles in finding the place. It's a new hostel, things are clean, worth the price totally. Location is great too, few walk you can get to center.

New Property - it is a house on the main floor and hostel on the top floor. The owner is a great guy, gave me good tips on advice for restaurants and sightseeing places. Keep up the good work !

In Blue Door Hostel, the bathroom is a bit old. There's lack of hangers for hanger clothes when you take shower. Inside the dorm room, when you move a bit on your bed it will caused sounds.

As the Bearded Dad hostel is full, the staff transferred me to another hostel The Blue Door hostel which is 10 minutes away from the original one. Over the stay there, staffs are friendly. There's a large common area including kitchen. There are many board games, card games, dart you can play with. Every morning , the ladies would prepare breakfast for all of you which I like the most!

Quiet time was not respected, staff was even there participating.. I asked for a lower bad because of my injured ankle, they said it was not possible, but the lower bad was free, so disappointing..

the bathroom set up was a bit uncomfortable. We had to take off our shoes and use some slippers they gave us (did not know if they were shared amongst guests). Location is not the best - a bit too north from everything.

I had booked a room for my mother here. And unfortunately her flight was delayed and she got to the airport after midnight. Due to her delay she showed up exhausted after midnight and this hostel double charged her. This is insane -charging a lady in her 50s double price for a bed, after having her flight delayed!!!!

The room that I was staying at didn't have AC and just a portable cooling fan. I was perspiring throughout the night and constantly woke up to scratch some bites that I had gotten sleeping in the room. A guy in the same room warned me about the mosquitos and said he didn't understand why we were not assigned to the room with AC since it wasn't fully occupied. It was already late when he told me this and I didn't think it was that bad until I kept waking up in the middle of the night. I also kept slipping on the rugs in the common area and room since they move around easily. Toilet and showers were tiny and shower cubicles do not have any hooks in them at all. Also, if you're expecting a fun and sociable hostel, this place is not for you. Luckily I only stayed one night.

Located in a quiet alley and about 15 mins walk to the square. Hostel is clean in general.

- No kitchen facilities including fridge or freezer, place to store food or even glasses or a kettle. - The use of an appliance tripped the fuse box and we were left without power, lights, air con, electricity with no owner present and no response to phone calls for an hour. - Very unsocial hostel the common area that was displayed in pictures was locked to guests. We were told to be quiet at 9:30 and overall very controlling atmosphere. Overall this is a nice place but if you are looking for a fun sociable and welcoming hostel this is not for you. Also I would not recommend to travellers in a budget as there is no where to make or store food you are forced to eat out 24/7

it feels like a person who did the design new nothing about ergonomics, what annoyed me the most: - you cannot fully seat on the bed (the bed on top is too close) - there is no place to put your stuff in the shower, no even a hook for your towel, moreover, shower cabins are small & the shower is a combined one (for women & for men), the door to it doesn't lock, so changing clothes before and after shower was a hell of experience

Compared to other hostels in Albania the stuff was not so welcoming and engaging. For example the made ut ny problem they could not give change on payment. Also if you don't eat eggs there was nothing for breakfast. Towel not included. And it said it was to be quite after 11 pm but it for sure was bot until the early morning, something that is normally respected at hostels.

Good common area. Good lockers in the rooms. Beds comfy. Location is good.
