The cleaning staff was really unpleasant. From asking guests to use a different restroom because they were smoking in it (the stairs to the outside 50 meters away) to preparing the room for the next guests an hour before check out while you’re still in the room trying to get dressed and pack, it ruined the overall experience.

This is by far the best place to be, perhaps the best hostel i've ever been to. We kept extending our stay there. Not only the facilities are clean, location spot on, staff friendly and well organized, some of many other perks are: spaceous beds with curtains, employees with great people skills, keycards, many social and tourist activities, lovely bar and kitchen, generous breakfast and more. We appreciate their animal-friendly attitude and notice that they not only promote cultural events, but co-create the cultural vibe of Skadar as well. split into two parts rooms on one side of old cobbled street reception,kitchen and garden/bar opposite in a good location in old quarter, clean comfortable rooms, good bathrooms, welcoming helpful staff and great outdoor space where there’s a traditional Albanian evening meal once a week for just two euros! hostel encourages a communal atmosphere helping guests mix easily 👍 and there was a secure space for bicycles and my motorcycle !

as far as I can tail, there were seven dorm rooms, and only three bathrooms for all of us. That was really difficult on days when everyone was going to Theth on the same bus at the same time.

the whole vibe. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful. There were dinners both nights I was there for only two euros with beer and wine for one euro. they were with themes….one night was Italian and one Albanian. The breakfast was copious… Fruit, eggs, bread, cheese, meat…Coffee for minute presentation, cereals…. They helped arrange travel to Theth, And even set everyone up in the same hostel If they wanted. There was an amazing number of bicycles they could be rented for only three euros. Everything was extremely accessible and the staff as well.

You couldn't ask for a better location. Away from the main busy street so not noisy at night, yet close to everything! The staff were friendly and always ready to help. My bunk bed was comfy for 3 nights and everything was clean. Breakfast was a great start to the day and an absolute bargain for the price!

Staff were really helpful. The beds were comfortable, didn't creek and there were extra blankets if you needed them. The rooms are in a different building across the street to the bar/common area which mean it was much more quite than if it had been above.

It is loud at night as it’s on the Main Street (it’s quiet by midnight though) The bikes to rent are cheap but they are very uncomfortable. Fine for short journeys but 17 miles was too far

The rooms are not so modern, the beds are a little old, there is no curtain in the beds, but even though wasn’t a problem to sleep!

The staff was very nice and helpful, had game night! There is laundry and nice kitchen! The hostel is very well located. The breakfast was sooooo good, full of options, the best I’ve ever seen in hostels, and has free coffee all day! Really liked staying there and wish could stay longer

the beds weren't the comfiest and were very creaky so anytime someone moved it made noise. but everything else was fine.

lovely staff and and great community vibe. the hostel also offered €2 dinner. they helped us plan or June through Valbona and Theth ans organized the transport and guest houses for us.

Loud with music until late if that bothers you.

Good location. Super friendly and fun staff creating a lovely sociable atmosphere with lots of card games. very reasonable cost for drinks. Good bathroom facilities.

That they advised to go to Koman lake and Valbona/Theth trail despite forecast for the following day being awful. If there's going to be a thunderstorm, and there is not going to be ferrys around, they just should advise not to go... it's not safe for sailing (speedboat in my case, almost sank) nor hike the pass (luckily we decided to do it the previous sunny day). Money aint worth our life!

Breakfast included, fun stuff and vibes going on at night, great people met and good planning for excursions.
