It was very nicely decorated with a map of a city and traditional rugs. The property is very modern. The kitchen is really nice as is the bathroom. There is a small rooftop with a view of the castle. Locked storage for luggage.

Only one shower was really available out of the 3, one’s lock didn’t really click into place and the other’s light wasn’t working, not too much of an issue as the hostel was quiet but it meant everyone had to use the one. The kitchen also could have a bit more amenities like cooking oil and pepper (there was salt) at a minimum other than that the kitchen was well stocked in utensils and cookery.

The owners were super kind and welcoming, always answering the phone if we had a question and they weren’t in the hostel. There is only one dorm in the hostel so not the most social but good to have a bit of socialisation but still be able to chill. The beds and room were super comfortable to sleep in and towels were provided at no extra cost which was nice.

I spent 4days in the dorm. It’s clean and with good air conditioner. The families were very kind and helpful. They helped me to drop my heavy luggage to the bus station free of charge. I felt so lucky that I chose this lovely hostel to stay in Gjirokaster.

Internet / wifi not very fast and signal on far side of our room (family room) was poor too. The staff do not sit at the front desk, but rather you have to indicate when you arrive and someone will get there in 5-10 mins to show you to your room.

Quiet place with nice mattresses and clean bathrooms - 3 showers and 3 stalls as I recall. Large kitchen with fridge and didn't cook anything but seems well equipped. Nice rooftop terrace to do some work or grab a drink. Situated 400m down from the main square, so it's quiet but super close to dinner and drinks places.

It was really tiny and not very social so unless you’re travelling in peak season you might not meet anyone.

The hostel and kitchen was really clean! The bathroom is huge for the size of the hostel. There is also a nice rooftop area you can sit and have dinner or drinks.

The bed made a lot of noice when turning. But it is also kind of the charm, sleeping in a sort of medieval room.

Location is perfect, just a small climb to the centre were everything in terms of restaurants / bars and shops can be found.

The property is awesome. A 5 min walk to the main area with shops and restaurants. AC worked great. The bathroom is large and clean. I stayed in the 6 bed dormitory and it was very nice. The beds are super comfortable. Also, the hostess is AMAZING. She is super kind and helpful and goes above and beyond to help you out. I accidentally lost the key to my locker and she was super kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

The owner was absolutely lovely, although she didn’t speak English, she was very eager to help us enjoy our stay. The hostel was homely and clean, and we loved the roof top spot. Only problem was that we couldn’t get hold of the host easily which made checking in a bit difficult. We didn’t actually see the host much at all after checking in. If you’re happy to just be left to it, this was a great place.

The hostel is very cosy, with very comfortable beds, all brand new. Kitchen is small but functional, and since they keep everything clean and they do not host too many people, that's not a problem at all. Bathrooms are very clean and there are separate cabins for toilets and shower, so you normally don't have to wait to use it. They also provide towels. There's a terrace to chill if the weather is nice. And all that for a really good price. For being a small family business, there's not so much of a social atmosphere, more like a Guesthouse vibe. The owner is not around most of the time, but they provide the wifi password in the front door, so it's easy to reach her and arrange everything or ask for any kind of assistance. And, as most of the people I met in Albania, she was very kind and welcoming. Faleminderit 😊

- wifi didnt connect from time to time, and didnt reach the room's balcony - noise isolation in the private room with balcony wasnt good,basically if someone decided to talk on the phone in the corridor at night - you would hear every word.. - no washing machine

it is a small cozy accommodation consisting of one hostel room and two private rooms. we enjoyed first few nights here so much that we extended out stay for another week or so. it did feel homey, with lot of common space and completely functional and clean pleasant kitchen (oil etc not available). the place is very clean too, the owners and cleaning lady were very friendly and responsive. + if u decide to cook, there are few shops just few meters from the hostel, that was really cool. * actually your stay will depends on other guests and their behaviour, because it is small place. but when we were there, we didnt feel like it has very sociliazing vibe, but more of a silent vibe.
