Nothing not to like, I think the hostel exceeded well beyond my expectations.

The staff were super polite and courteous. I also made good friends with other residents of the hostel which made my tour so much more enjoyable. The owner Karine runs a very efficient set up and I would recommend this Hostel to anyone traveling to Yerevan along for ~ week's stay.

MGA Hostel is pretty good place that is located in vicinity of all essential sights, fancy cafe, restaurants and so on. There I met very polite and friendly personal, in general it is cool, cosy place.

Everything is uncomfortable, especially the aunty who was working there, she can’t speak English and Racist plus homophobia, the hostel is so dirty like the bed was used for many people, too small, not well organized, inside was so dirty and smelly, uneducated employee and lack of communication.

Unfortunately another travelers didn’t sleep at night and talked a lot during night so we couldn’t sleep well. And during holidays for new year no one cleaned there .after 2 days they cleaned hostel.

The staff does not speak English. The lady was kind, but had no idea about my arrival or how to accept card payment ->so of course I had to pay cash. I did not receive any invoice, receipt what-so-ever. Then they found my room, which was super dirty. The bed sheets were not changed cleaned, I am sure. There was hair and dirt on the sheet and the pillow.. The room is also dirty, the toilet and the shower too. Ridiculous. I asked a few questions, but they did not speak English, and the "administrator" is on vacation, so I gave up my complaints in person, and just went through the night. Awful place.

I think the only positive part is the location. It is close to the Blue Mosque, and the city center etc is very close. Then basically nothing else.

Mattresses in Armenia are not great, but this one was the worst I experienced. I took a private room and I literally could feel the springs in my body. The space to social is limited, so if you are looking to meet many fellow travellers this might not be the place for you.

Good location but not too central. Shared toilet and shower was just next to the room which is handy. Did not use the kitchen nor washing machine (2,000AMD) but available to use. Room size, deco and sockets are good. Host is nice and friendly. Inexpensive coffee shop 10m away.

You cannot pay by card. The bed linens were not very clean. The dormitory room does not have a window. Bathroom could be improved.

The WC and the bathroom are really small and have the weirdest slide doors that hard to handle with. One person locked the common area - hallway to 2 private rooms and I had to wait and wake these persons up to get in to my room. That was super annoying situation which was poorly handled by the host - basically no help at all. Very noisy street nearby. If you open window you can't sleep because of the noise. No fan or ac provided so the room was hot AF. Definitely overpriced.

Place is shabby Bed is super.uncomfortable - they are not using real mattress The owner, a strange woman, with obviously some psychological issues is always around, calling you, speaking to you, judging what you do. She was unhappy because I was paying with bank card, she insisted crazily and.umcortably that I pay in cash then she accepted that I pay in card but wanted to take my bank card herself to the machine. I refused,.she was mad again. She then said to "the administrator" to charge me 5% extra. I asked where this rule is written. She then said there is no need to write the rules because rules are rules. she added do not react like that,.do not speak to me.because i have heart problems. Her heart problems obviously did not prevent her to try to scam tourists but did prevent her to reply to questions concerning the overcharge. she finally went outside to smoke and curse me in Armenian. The administrator charged me.without the 5%. The.owner came.back with fighting spirit asking me.to leave the place because check out was at 11am (it was 11h02 and previous evening I had informed both through the app and verbally over the phone that I would leave at 12h30 and it was accepted)... In any case, if you really have something to do in this area and only want to sleep a few hours, this place.might help you If you want to be in a good mood, have good time, good coffee, good sleep or see friendly.people stay away as Babayaga owns this place!!!!

My room lacked windows (yet this is expected from the pictures), and the air conditioning is not enough. There is little space, which limits socialization. There were no shelfs nearby the beds. In the end, the hostel is over-priced.

shared bathroom was interesting, After taking the shower the water was everywhere in the bathroom. I don't like to step in the water after shower. The arrangement of bathroom was not pretty good. Also the room I had was not having a window, I thought of ventilation so opened the window near the selling, And to my horror in the night a cat entered through that window and jumped on the bed, It was scary, the cat roams in the hotel lobby. And the same cat jumped on my bed in the midnight, This was honestly scary. :(

Location that's the only thing. Actually I made a mistake by selecting this hostel, I mistakenly went for shared bathroom, nowadays I can not deal with it, If you are ok with then this is a good place. If you are one of those who are ok with shared toilet then this place is for you, fairly clean, location is good too.
