How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A nice hotel, not far from the city centre. There is also a bus station in front of the hotel. Clean, nice breakfasf.

cleanliness & decor of front entrance area. quality of bedding was very poor. towels also decor & quality of bedroom was horrible view from roof terrace advertise a rooftop bar but its only open until 8pm!!

We found other people's hair on the floor all over the room. The coffee machine didn't work for breakfast and there was a hockey team in the hotel so there wasn't enoug space or food for other guests. They tried to charge us an additional cost.
The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance from the city center. The breakfast was good.

We couldn't get in to the hotel, because they gave us the wrong code for the key safe. We have tried to call them, but we couldn't reach anybody. So we had to search for an other hotel in the middle of the night. I wouldn't suggest to anyone.

Toilet seat was broken, I made a reservation for a couple and they gave us a 2 separated beds room, needed to change it. Breakfast table not prepared to eat, needed to prepare the table by myself. At the end, promises giving the Card for entertainment but at the end said they couldn’t do it as they were not prepared in advance and didn’t want to have extra work to do it. Do not recommend the hotel. Terrible location even with car I was scared of the surroundings

The building in which the accommodation is located has a grubby and unwelcoming entrance.
The room was comfortable and large. The breakfast was sumptuous. The reception staff were very friendly.

I have one query that i have booked this two bed room and i did payment also but why i had to pay there extra for my friend ?? I have booked double so it is obvious that the room is for two people but they took extra charge from when i checked out and they told me that booking is for single person but i stayed there with my friend so you have to pay extra 31 euro but i did payment so the room was booked by my name and it was double bed room so why they took extra

Reception not on ground level. No 24h reception, which is poor service for a 4 star hotel.
The breakfast was very good, and the terrace offers nice views to the mountains. Location is ok, 10 mins walking from the city center.

the building's entrances looked sketchy and so did the garage, the bathroom was older, there was a bit of mold under the grout and the shower head was full of limestone spraying water everywhere
the bed was fairly comfortable even though it was 2 beds pushed together and the breakfast was ok, lots of variety, it had a nice terrace in the breakfast area

Everything looks like
Didn’t stay as the accommodation was not as expected and definitely not 4*as stated on your site. The underpass that you have to use was dark dirty, smelt of urine was covered in graffiti and felt very threatening. The entrance was dirty with broken locks and the lift you had to use to get to reception was also dirty, the carpets in the room were badly stained the tiles in the community area were cracked and the floor was dirty, there was a broken metal cabinet in the middle of the floor. It was above a hot food shop and you could actually smell the food in the lift. It didn’t feel comfortable or safe to stay so we had to go and find other accommodation which I was really concerned about in case we couldn’t find anywhere to stay that night.
