Even tho breakfast did not have much things to choose from, but it was delicious:) District may seem unsafe (because it is quiet) but I think location is perfect, it’s not loud outside as in other areas in Vienna and you can reach almost everything easily. Right near hotel goes tram D which will take you to the city centre and central station:)

I recently stayed at Hotel Calmo, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was very outdated and extremely noisy, making it hard to relax. The bathroom was not very clean and had a terrible, overpowering sewage smell, which was unbearable. The breakfast was also unsatisfactory, with a very poor selection of options. Overall, the experience did not meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this hotel.

we never took the pictures we bought as souvenirs measuring 100x80 out of the room, but we didn't get them back either. A disaster, without any professionalism. It's good that there are pictures, I could have stolen the document or the phone, I probably would never have seen it. My anti-recommendation

It was in noisy area, did not have its own bar to eat. Hotel was not clean even at lobby, getting to room: beds was not properly cleaned, in toilet there was spiders walking, furniture was outdated and even broken, some furniture was missing in room, from what was seen in photos, walls were damaged/dirty.

Everything was good, the hotel was spotless and the staff was kind and helped us in several ways. A tram stop is nearby and a metro station is 600m from there. The breakfast is fresh, not so many options but really good. I really recommend this hotel

Our stay at Hotel Calmo was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the overall comfort it provided. The bed was very comfy, ensuring we had restful nights throughout our stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent location and connectivity. There's a tram stop conveniently located near the hotel, making it incredibly easy to reach the city center and all the major attractions. For those who prefer underground travel, there's also a metro station nearby, giving guests multiple transportation options. While the hotel offers parking for 15 euros, we opted for a nearby garage recommended by the staff, which cost only 7 euros per day. We must give a special shout-out to the receptionist with short hair and glasses. Her friendliness, helpfulness, and wealth of local knowledge truly enhanced our stay. The instructions and recommendations she provided were invaluable. Overall, Hotel Calmo offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this hotel caters to all needs. We highly recommend Hotel Calmo to anyone visiting the area and will definitely be returning on our next trip!

We stayed 3 nights in one superior room on the seventh floor. Spacious, bright and very clean. The beds are twins but as they are next to each other they seem like a large bed. Definitely worth taking. Overall the hotel is not pretentious (maybe this is the reason why clients don’t give a 9 or 10), but, for us, it ticked all the boxes and delivered. It is very well located, next to tram D (roughly 20 mins to get to the opera house, brilliant !) and a few minutes away from a subway line. There is also a big low cost parking (200 m from the hotel, less than 7€ a day) if you have a car (the hotel has also a car park but with limited spaces and it is a bit more expensive per day). It has a very nice and welcoming reception. Breakfast is buffet style and definitely worth having, especially in summer in the courtyard. If you want something lighter, there is a nice bakery 150 m away from the hotel. Staff at the reception was really welcoming and helpful too. All in all, great value for money !

If you are staying longer, the wardrobe is too small, there could be more closets.

Some parts of the toilet bowl are dirty. They’re usually hard to notice, but I spotted them, and it made me really uncomfortable.
