How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It was a very basic room with no coffee maker or kettle. Minimalistic approach but clean and ok for what it is.
The property was clean, room was good size for the hotel, staff was very nice.

We had expensive bikes with us and storing them in the storage room costs 5 € per bike per day. First hotel we had to pay to store our bikes.
Nice hotel in a save and trendy environment, close to the station, public transport and the Belvedere palace. Spacious rooms with confortabel beds. Friendly staff.

In front of the hotel there were benches and chairs to sit, so whole night someone was sitting and it wasn't quiet. Even to get worse, in the morning the staff was outside in 7am and talking loud.. Also the bathroom that looked pretty, unfortenantly it had a bad smell. It was really bad that there were to very small paper cups for water.. And they were in the bathroom, super not higienic..
20minute walk to Belvedere Palace and 30minute to centar. Hotel was new.. Breakfast we paid extra 10e per person and was ok.. Parking we didn't paid it was outside on streets and was free for Saturday and Sunday.

The only downside is that it takes a while to get to the city center.
It's a beautiful new neighborhood. Very close to the central train station. The staff was very friendly, good breakfast.

The parking was difficult because we tried to unload our bags at the door and the police followed us and gave us a $30 E ticket. We tried to explain we thought it was OK because there was another van parked on the promenade but they were very rude and aggressive and insisted we pay the fine, even before they issued a ticket. Then, we witnessed many other cars and taxis doing exactly the same thing. The front desk staff were not sympathetic - we got the impression they were used to that situation.

Sometimes the breakfast bread was a bit tough (the semmels especially). There was also an unpleasant smell in the halls of the top floor, room was fine though.
Breakfast was good, the staff was kind and very helpful, the checkout process was easy, the AC was great, the Wifi was strong, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was one of the best hotels of our entire trip.

There is no electric kettle, I would like to have one.
Clean and comfortable place, close to the public transport, perfect to visit Vienna. There is no free parking, but with discount we paid 13 euro/24h.

There’s no mini fridge in the room so do keep that in mind
Great location and super nice staff!! For some reason, we were looking for luggage storage place overnight (before our check in day), they are kind enough to accommodate that and offer the help!! Definitely recommend!!!

The bunk beds are quite narrow but apart from that it was great!
Centre of Vienna is easily accessible by the tram- takes around 20 minutes to get into the centre of town. The room is a classic chain hotel room which has everything you need in it and a good ensuite bathroom. We were also allowed to check in early and leave our bags at the reception the next day.
