How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything very good, very welcoming personnel, quiet room, very good breakfast, makes this hotel the right choice to be near Vienna Hauptbahnof, for convenient business in town, getting to airport early morning or hopping on any connection train. Thanks!

-sockets are placed not very convenient, no complimentary water, no mini bar or fridge. iron is only available on the reception desk.
+helpful staff (asked for some hot water in the evening and they gladly provided it, as there is no kettle in the room), big clean and modern room (we had for three people). location is near the main railroad station and it’s possible to go to the city center in 40 min. no noise from the neighbors. not expensive good cold breakfast.

Some of the gentry can be a bit iffy since it's a budget option. We had a drunk guy knocking at our door at 5 a.m. after a night out partying. An iron in the room would have been really nice and some closed cupboard space.
Very clean room, built in aircon, near the main city station so easy to travel to the regions. The check-in was super easy, i like that there are no room keys, just codes . The breakfast is extra but value for money. It is really easy to walk to the city central station or catch a tram to the old city. Checkout is as easy as the checkin. Housekeeping staff is also quite friendly.

The facilities were minimal, not even a kettle in the room and paper cups only, comfy beds but unpleasant, synthetic duvets and lumpy pillows. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel as it felt overpriced. There are better hotels in the same area in the same price range. The staff were professional but not particularly welcoming.
Convenient location close to the railway station. Quiet location.

Vienna Central station is a few minutes away and the hotel is also about 3 minutes walk to a tram station. Very convenient for exploring the tourist spots. Beds are super comfortable I had really good sleep my entire stay. Nice neighborhood cafe and a Billa grocery store 2 minutes walk from hotel. We enjoyed our stat and it was great value for the money. I would highly recommend this place. Front desk people are very nice and welcoming too and they let us leave our luggage after we checked out so we can explore some more. Love this hotel!

The room would need a shelf to place things.
The breakfast was very good, cereal, fruit, cheese, salami, ham, bread, tomatoes, cucumber. Different types of coffee. The hotel is a 5 minutes walk from the main train station. You can take the tram to go to the Belvedere and other interesting places.

The beds were quite narrow an I didn’t find them comfortable.
