Noise from other rooms, TV etc. I had heard from previous guests there was a lovely restaurant, no longer there. No bar, well, there's a mini bar in the room. It's a basic hotel, it's clean . Vending machine in the lobby, always a bad sign. One or two TV channels in English, both for news. Catering mostly for German speaking guests. Would I go back? No.

Everything was perfect for us (we booked 3 nights but extended our stay by an extra night). The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast was tasty and varied. I parked in the garage in the basement of the hotel (25 euros/day), where the access is a bit narrow, but it was ok. We will definitely return to this hotel. Thank you!

The hotel was perfect!! They even send me a bottle of sparkling wine because I had my birthday!! The breakfast was a very good deal for its price and the location of the hotel only 4 minutes with the tram. I would definitely choose hotel Boltzmann again for my next visit in Vienna!!!

The staff was very kindly and the location of the hotel was close to the stations. If you asked for something, the reception staff was ready to solve it and help you a lot to get information about the place.

It’s very old, the bathroom didn’t feel too clean and my shower didn’t drain properly so there was always a puddle. The bed and pillows aren’t very comfortable. The walls are thin so you can hear people snoring and what they are saying in the next room.

We do not recommend staying at this hotel if you do not want to be scammed. Unfortunately this happened to us, when we received a message from this hotel to confirm our booking through the Booking app, we were scammed. The hotel was completely unresponsive and as a result the staff completely refused to speak to us. As well as attempts to contact the director were completely ignored. Not to mention the terrible cleanliness of the room, a huge layer of dust, hair all over the bathroom, non-working air conditioning, no free sockets, rotten decoration on the breakfast table and terrible soundproofing. The room was on the 4th floor and you could hear everything at night, every person passing by. After 20+ years of travel experience, this is the most horrible place we have ever been. If all the shortcomings of the room could still be tolerated, the money scam for which neither the hotel nor Booking felt guilty really puts an end to this.So it you don't want to ruin your trip and relieve yourself of several months of headaches and lost money, we strongly urge you to completely ignore this place, just as its staff ignore guests problems.

Very good hotel in a nice and quite location. Just 15 minutes on foot from the downtown. The room was exellent, very spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. We could sleep well and felt themselves rested

I have visited this hotel many times before, and it is always my 'go -to' when staying in Vienna. Clean, good value with excellent room amenities. Some things even seem to be upgraded since last time e.g. new door lock, new safe and hot drink facilities i.e. kettle and sachet coffee, tea, sugar etc Staff all super helpful and welcoming.

Fridge was not cold

The staff were incredibly helpful, professional, kind. Got great tips for exploring the city and the surrounding area. There was an elevator. Location is safe, and quiet. nearby physics university. close to food, cafe, grocery store. Tram stop 5 minutes walk, about 15 min to city center via tram.
