There are no signal and the house have only open wifi, what is not the safest. The no signal isn't a problem, but the open wife is.

The location is brilliant! The house is between the mountains and the absolutely silent. We could park outside, but there is no traffic, safe! The food was delicious! The breakfast is more then enough and the kitchen makes very good food! Pets are welcomed every room, incl. the restaurant! There are many trails starting from the house. It is beautiful in every season! Grüner-See is ~ 2,5-3 hours walking!

There was a small glitch with the bathroom but it was solved with the help of the very helpful staff.

The location was exquisite! The guesthouse is located in a pristine valley, surrounded by amazing views of the Hochschwab mountains. It's the closest one can get to a secluded mountain cabin feeling without the need of climbing up to a mountain top. That comes handy for any families with smaller kids.

The view was spectacular the room wad very clean and tidy and also extremely quiet. The breakfast was delicious especially the cheeses. Our Hosts and Staffs were really nice and friendly. We had the best time in Bodenbauer. ❤️

Situated ideally for Hochschwab hikes. The service is friendly, the place is operated by a family and some employees. The rooms are clean, the bathroom clean and furnished with everything one needs. It is not a luxury hotel but a place where people who love nature and hikes can rest and have a very nice breakfast or a-la-cart food from the restaurant. The view is amazing, all in all I have nothing to complain about it. Parking is free for hotel guests. The mobile does not work in the valley, wifi is not 100% reliable, but OK.

The hotel was understaffed so we waited a lot of time to be served. The bed is not very comfortable.

Ideal location for hiking . Room has a good size. The breakfest was satisfing.

Beautiful location, it's far from city noise. The house surrounded by forest and mountains. The territory arranged with benches so you can leave alone with nature and your thoughts. Also, this location has several walking routes of different complexity.

Scenic location, quiet surroundings, very polite staff. Comfortable location at start of trails. Shared shower and wc were very clean. Restaurant food was tasty and very filling after our long trip. I recommend this location.

I have been to many acomodations in Alpine regions, and this easily tops out all of them. The atmosphere is super cozy, the room was perfectly clean and modernized with amazing shower and a lot of space, the views around are amazing, and the staff is so nice that I felt bad checking out. The manager helped us out with hiking guidances and gave as a much needed lighter just out of kindness, followed by a lovely Styrian Accordion show (: I really recommend this place and really miss it already

The setting was amazing. The surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning and the trails all start right from there. The food was all pretty good, especially after a big day out. Staff were all lovely.

The fact they were short staffed meant we sometimes had to wait to be served, but as we weren’t rushed, this wasn’t at all to the detriment of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were really made to feel at home by Sabine and the other staff. Even though they were quite stretched with it being peak season, they did everything possible to enhance our stay, allowing us to upgrade rooms, providing us with an early breakfast and packed lunch for our Hochschwab hike, and even calling the Schietlhaus mountain hut to check on our progress when we were back late. For those undertaking the Hochschwab ascent it is worth saying it is rather more challenging for those unfamiliar with alpine hiking than online descriptions might suggest! We were slow, but the whole circuit took us almost 12 hours, and the section of via ferrata was not for the faint-hearted, even if no specialist equipment was required. We were grateful to Sabine and some other kindly guests for making sure we were well prepared! The food in the restaurant was also very good - wholesome Austrian fare.

I myself found the place very likeable, but my girlfriend who is obsessed with cleanness found it okayish only, due to some spider webs here and there.

The place could go smoother with more staff, but the people running the place, especially the receptionist lady, is super cool.
