How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We found the beds a little stiff and we were bummed that our paid for breakfast was limited the second night of our stay due to low guests at the hotel. A small discount would have been appreciated.
Our stay was great. The staff is so friendly, food was good, and the location is gorgeous. The spa was great too and the kids loved the pool.

The breakfast was simple but very delicious. We were amazed by the friendliness of the staff. The hotel was renewed recently and is very clean. Great room to store the ski and skiing shoes. We felt really welcomed and will return definitely.

The room was a bit too cold (despite the heater being turned up fully) and we always struggle with short blankets in hotel rooms (being a very tall couple). It would help if they would provide a spare blanket. I am sure one can ask for it - given how helpful they were throughout! - but one does not get up in the middle of the night to do so. So if its not provided in the wardrobe or such, it's a chilli sleep...
The location, the friendliness of the personnel and the skiing slopes to explore, wonderful! Having a small spa area directly on site is lovely to warm up after an outdoor winter day. The facilities were clean and ample of towels were provided.

nothing. Everything was perfrct.
The hotel is situated in a unique location from our room we had a great view of Mount Grimming. Very large, comfortable room with a balcony. Breakfast in the hotels excellent, a large selection of dishes, very tasty. The hotel has excellent cuisine, very varied, we ate delicious dinners every day. The hotel has a very friendly atmosphere, the hotel staff is very helpful, I rate the stay as exceptional. I would like to return to this hotel someday.

The mattresses in the bedrooms would require some attention, but overall they are not that bad. You can get a good night sleep after a long day spent outdoors.
Excellent breakfast, with a lot of choices. I tried most of them, and they were all excellent, throughout our 5 day stay. The fact that they have a very good coffee machine, that makes an excellent coffee, is a fantastic bonus for us. Also, there was this square bread (lauf....) that was a first for us coming from Canada, and definitely a delicacy. When we told the owner we love that bread she made sure we have them in the morning at our reserved table. Thank you for that. Very friendly staff, and the food from the local restaurant is very good.

We love this place ... very nice and helpful staff and family atmosphere, beautiful views of the mountains, perfect swimming pool, very good breakfast, well equipped rooms. The hotel is also baby friendly - we had our 1 year old daughter with us and she loved it. The price is reasonable and value for money perfect!

All was great!
Nice breakfast, very kind and friendly staff, very nice owner, we met him every day. I felt there comfortable, the studios are spaceous and clean. No problem with our dog (golden retriever). Great heated pool and saunas, small fintess in case of bad weather. Slopes are in walkable distance (approx. 5-10 mins by walk). Fanstastic place for stay with familly and dogs.

Could have better pillows, but seems like everywhere we’ve been in Austria so far. The pillows are almost non existing.

We stayed at the old part of the hotel, which did not have a view to the mountains. We had bugs in the shower.
The outdoor swimming pool, the view from the pool area to the mountains.
