How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The place is overpriced by 30-50%. The sound-proofing between the rooms is very bad.

the view is perfect but is you get there at night is not so easy and a bit dangerous as the road is to narrow

The sofa beds in the living room were not comfortable.

Tranquil location. In the middle of mountains. Really nice. Food as dinner offered by the hotel as half board was so nice. Typical Austrian food. Super! Breakfast was very nice and fresh. Nice view around the hotel. Peace and tranquillity. Room super spacious. Views from room was amazing. Will be back for sure if in this area. Around 30 minutes from Innsbruck. Easy to park at hotel premises.

The staff is not austrian and we felt a bit missing of clasical austrian hospitality but you can not have it all 😀. Everything else is just very good.
Perfect quality/ price ratio, good breakfast, good food at the restaurant, excellent location.

The room offered to us was at the back of the property with a view of the hill despite the fact that I asked for the room at the front of the property. Then to be told that no more room is available.
The hotel location is good. The food served by the restaurant is good and value for money.

I don't like cleaning people in hotels to go into my room and tidy up without my permission. They could make a door sign showing if we want cleaning in the room that day or not.
All was good in general. I liked the food very much.

It was very kind, that they left a small bottle prosecco and a chocolate for welcome. It was very cold, when we arrived in the room, only 18 C. The heater needed hours to warm up. What we missed in the Appartement was soap and kitchen towels to wash and dry the dishes. And the cleaning every day was only make the bed and
The location was great and bed was comfortable. The Appartement had a good size and was cozy. The sauna area was comfortable and we enjoy it.

I booked this pension for two nights with breakfast and dinner included, and I am deeply disappointed. The food was a complete disaster. On the first night, I ordered the Puten Schnitzel, which was tasteless. The meat seemed not fresh, and the oil used for cooking also appeared stale. On the second night, I ordered Tirol Gröstl, and it was the worst I’ve ever had! Half of the potatoes were undercooked and hard, the onions were burned and had an awful taste, and the dish was overwhelmingly salty—I couldn’t even finish it. Perhaps the issue lies in the fact that only one person manages the kitchen and takes orders. This led to very slow service, leaving us bored at the table while waiting for our food. The breakfast wasn’t any better. The coffee was the worst I’ve ever had—completely undrinkable. The croissants and cheese seemed old and possibly leftovers, which wasn’t surprising given the lack of guests at the pension. In summary, I would only recommend this pension as a quick roadside stop for a drink, restroom, or water. It is definitely not worth staying the night, and I strongly advise against eating any food there.

Nothing. So delightful- can’t wait to return! There is a bus stop but the location would work better to go by car.
Beautiful setting, clean and tidy. Includes tea kettle and fridge. We got half board with dinner (3 courses) and breakfast and the food was delicious and generous. Near lots of good hikes.

It would have been nice if the guesthouse had flowers on the balconies...
The parking lot is large, the room is large and surrounded by a balcony on two sides. A 5-minute walk is the entrance to the Geisterklamm, which is free.

Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and excellent food. Absolute satisfaction. Comfortable and clean apartment. Breakfast where everyone chooses, everything tasty and fresh. Homemade pastries for breakfast were a very pleasant surprise.

The meal was not good, not fresh, and two bottles of water (1liter) cost 20 euros! Never again! Also, the staff could be much more polite when speaking!
