The fact it was ruhetag when we arrived and there was nowhere locally to eat. We had to drive to a nearby town.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very nice and access to Salzburg with the local bus just across the road was excellent. The room was very clean and the communal fridge a nice touch.

The staff worked very hard to resolve any issues we had. The room shown when booking was different, but I think we ended up with a better room overlooking the mountain.

Great Location to Salzburg. We took bus#21 into the city several times. Fürstenbrunn is a very cute little village. The breakfast was good and so was the dinner.

Nice structure, friendly staff, love the position nearby the forest yet not far from Salzburg. Bus stop is close (didn't took it). Neighbors played accordion a little in late afternoon, providing the perfect atmosphere for relax.

Nested near the Alps , it's a very cute home stay like hotel. We loved the room, very cute and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and served us vegetarian breakfast on request - simple sandwiches, but it's the gesture that counts. We loved the stay!

Bathroom was very old and dark with a micro mirror that made it almost impossible to shave. Stairs and hallways dark and difficult to turn on lights.

A few more breakfast options would be nice, but it was decent overall and what they had looked and tasted good.

Stayed here for one night. Came in late, so we got a message from the owner where to collect our key. Plenty of parking spots for cars within a few meters from the door. The room was as advertised. Some furniture is a little bit older, but I think it fits the "homey" style of the hotel. Most importantly: the room was very clean, as in exceptionally well cleaned, so that's great. Breakfast selection is decent and the breakfast was tasty. Selection isn't that big, but it's a small hotel so that also fits the expectation. Staff were all friendly too. Overall, very happy. Solid 9/10. Definitely up for a repeat next time we're in the area.

No proper shower, just a bath tub with a handheld shower piece. Also no shower curtain. Not near any restaurants that are within walking distance.

Nice location near Berchtesgaden and Salzburg. Had a nice spacious room with a balcony. Would definitely stay here again

Room was quite warm and we had difficulty cooling it down for a comfortable sleep. Wasn't as close to the highway as I was hoping it would be, but I guess that's to be expected of a country inn. Overall a very nice stay.

I like the atmosphere of the hotel. It was like an old country lodge that was very cozy and comfortable. The room was clean and the on-site restaurant served delicious food. Breakfast was included and very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

the room was very comfortable and it was nice to have the restaurant downstairs. Unfortunately, it was closed 2 of the 3 nights we were there. Check-in was easy and lots of parking. It was on the bus route to Salzburg which made it very easy.,

We wish to have a wonderful dinner at the hotel, but there wasn't information that the owner was not at the hotel at dinner time when we had arrvied at the hotel.

We didn't have time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel due to our schedule, but the hotel provided us the special breakfast box, so there was no proble to enjoy the morning meal.
