How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Parking is not available for hotel guests but we were lucky and got a empty spot on street in front of the entrance😄

The rooms are next to a pretty busy street so be careful if you have a light sleep. Also blankets are very thin.

Water in the shower couldn't go away for a long time
Practically everything, especially price quality rate! The room was clean and there was everything necessary there. I read complaints about noise from the street, but we were in the rooms 110 and 210 not facing busy street. It was calm in the morning. Good choice at breakfast. Perfect for one night in Vienna

Breakfast not of the best but for the price it's ok They don't clean your room during your stay, but for the price it's fine Not a four star hotel, rather 3 but a good three stars. Today stars don't mean much anyway...
Large room, large bathroom, very clean Friendly personnel Good location, you're 5 min from a U-Bahn tram and bus station. Bus stop 50 m from Hotel. Cheap parking avaialble for 9 EUR per day.

My only complaint is the lifts only go to the fourth floor and as we were on the fifth floor, my husband had to carry our suitcases up two flights of stairs. Not so much a problem for overnight bags but we were long distance travellers and in our 70's.
We had a double room on the top floor which was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent for a visit to Schonbrunn Palace and close to U bahn station for direct transport to Vienna city.

They changed their bed sheets to ones made of polyester. I think those are uncomfortable on the skin and I have doubts that they get washed hot enough to be hygienic. It is a bit noisy from the streets.
The rooms have a nice design , nice big bathroom and shower.

Property is adjacent to a nice street and is walkable to schornbrunn palace.. its a nice walk.. good restaurants and pubs nearby .. breakfast was good.. they were happy to keep our baggage until we formally checked in later..

The room smelled funny. Also, carpet flooring doesn't seem to be the most practical choice in a hotel.
The personnel were nice and helpful. The location was also great, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

When I checked in the elevator was out of service for 1 hour, I walked steps to 4 th floor Was soon fixed, no other issues

Good location, close to metro station. There is a beautiful park with a playground near to the hotel. Nice staff, spacious room. Cool urban atmosphere.

I received 2 messages from the hotel to provide my credit card details or the reservation would be cancelled. As I had pre-paid the room, I didn't provide the CC info but contacted the hotel. No one did anything or at least no one replied to my messages. The hotel was very basic and I don't plan to return. In the begging of the street there was erotic cinema. Some of the photos in the room were alwful. It was very far from the centre.
The girls at the reception were very polite.

The receptionist wasn’t quite helpful. I’m sure she was just tired but she could’ve tell us where to go or be a little welcoming.

Cigarette smell in the bathroom; also there's very little light. You will not be able to see your face in the mirror or do a makeup.
Good location, a walk distance to Schönbrunn, Zoo. Supermarket Hofer is on the way. Direct U-Bahn line to the city center. Parking near the U-Bahn station (8 Euro per day). Free coffee, tea in the lobby and in the room.
