Hotel doesn’t deserve four star

Everything needs to upgrade. Staff not friendly at all.

Room smelled bad, dirty sheets, dirty room, curtains had stains, worst pillows. Do not recommend this hotel.

It’s mentioned that the reception is 24/7 but it wasn’t. Was informed that the reception is only from 8-8 once I arrived. I had an issue with my room key at night, and I was stuck downstairs for 2 hours because there was no one there and no way to reach anyone as the phone was ringing in the reception. I had to go through the reception drawers to find a spare key (lucky me). So frustrating!

The shower was full of mold, it was disgusting. Looked like it have never been cleaned. I paid my room, got confirmarion from the hotel, but 2 days before my visit, I got message from hotel, that there was an error in the system and the price is too low. They wanted me to cancel my reservation and book it for the full price. It wan’t my fault, that I got the room for the price from Booking, so I ignored it. When I arrived to the hotel, the receptionist was making pressure on us and it was really unpleasant. I agreed to lower the room standard, because it was just one night stand. I’ll never come back, thanks to their unprofessional behaviour.

The only possitive aspect was the bed.

The location of the hotel was good. It was a quiet area not that far away from downtown by metro. The room was really nice, big and clean. The staff was also very friendly and eager to help and provide more information.

Hotel near the metro station and Schönbrunn. Large room and modern bathroom. Comfortable beds. Hotel staff pleasant, easy check-in.

No fridge in the room, the pillow was very uncomfortable, no heating in the bathroom, no vanity kit, no slippers, breakfast was poor and the same everyday.

The hotel is within walking distance to Schonbrunn, there is a metro station not five mins away. The room was clean, spaceous, with everything needed for a few days stay. The breakfast buffay had plenty to choose from, everything fresh and delicious. The staff was polite and professional. To sum it up, we enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend the hotel.

The value for money was not worth it. 140 something euros for one night in a four star hotel for two people- i expected a lot more. The room was spacious but extremely cold when we got there, the window was open. Vienna was in the middle of a snow storm! The room never warmed up, it stayed cold the entire time. When we got into the room there was a dirty towel on the chair, the rest of the room was clean. Rooms dont have the amenities four star hotels usually have (fridge, free slippers, heating you could control,…) i was very disappointed because it was truly not worth the money. I have had better stays in some low budget 1 star hotels in Vienna.
