The television service was not good. 16 channells available. No one in the english language. Some channells were blank at times. Most screens were breaking up from time to time

A classic old Viennese hotel with a retro atmosphere - BUT indeed clean, comfortable, and offering great value for money.

The hotel's potential is unfortunately wasted due to a lack of investment. My room was outdated and run-down. The window wouldn't close properly, letting in drafts and causing the outside blinds to bang against the window, disturbing my sleep. The shower head was covered in mold, which was unsanitary. Overall, the hotel was adequate for a one-night stay, but it fell short of my expectations.

The bedding was clean, the toilet and sink were in good condition, and the breakfast offered a decent selection. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Indeed the furniture is old, but I don't see any inconvenience from that because I only used the hotel for sleeping. It could have been a little warmer in the rooms, but it's acceptable

The location is very good considering that the tram is in front of the hotel and the metro is behind. In maximum 30 minutes you are in the city center. Small but clean room. Cleaning is done daily and the staff is very kind

The location is really good, easy access to the city centre via metro U3 and supermarket and chain of fast foods nearby. The staff was welcoming. Easy and quick check in. Good breakfast choice for 10€.

I would have liked to have a fridge in the room, and maybe a kettle with some tea and/or coffee as well. The window was a bit old and looked it like it was about to fall, but it wasn't a big issue. It worked just about well enough. The shower and the bathroom are a bit small, but for the price it really isn't bad.

The location is great. It's central enough that getting to the city center is not a pain, but it's far away enough that you don't pay city center prices for your room. There is a bus that takes you straight to the Volkstheater metro station in the center of Vienna. If you exit the hotel, take a right and then another right and walk a bit you get to the Ottakring metro station. There are also lots of grocery stores and restaurants around. There is a SPAR right across the street, a Billa if you take a left and then another left, and a Hofer (Aldi) if you go a bit further. I also recommend Schnitzleria, a nearby fast food place with huge portions of Schnitzel at a good price. My room was small, but it had all the basic necessities: a bed, a TV, toiletries and a clean bathroom. The room itself was also clean. The room is incredible in terms of value for money. It was basic, but for 50€/night (on Christmas) it doesn't get much better than that. You should book a month or two in advance if you can, however.
