Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandUnfortunately, the room stank. There were no bin bags in the bin, and the sheets had old stains on them!!! I have been to hostels (!) with better cleanliness standards. I did not like that the toilet had a cabin-like door- there was no separation between the toilet and the room. The bed mattress was quite firm- not the most comfortable.
Spacious room, quiet neighbourhood, very kind staff, decent price. Breakfast was simple but tasty.

TurkeyThe room was freezing, we moved to two rooms, still the same problem. Because they turn on the heaters. Why are the rooms cold and the heater not working in a cold country like Austria? We were cold, we asked for a second blanket, they gave it. There was no phone, hair dryer or disposable slippers in the room. It was a strange joke. They say they give hair dryers in return for a deposit. Who knows how many people have used them, how can I know that they won't break down? It's risky. And most importantly, the employees at the breakfast are very rude. We were afraid to ask questions. When we left the hotel yesterday morning, it was 6:05 in the morning. We said can we make sandwiches without going here to the reception, we won't stay for breakfast, we won't be able to catch the plane. They said of course. The woman in the kitchen reacted to us, we said we will prepare it, we only said if you give us three pieces of bread. She said that, she went in and came out and brought other things so as not to give them, we say we will be late for the plane, she says wait, wait. And she didn't bring the bread. She was a very disrespectful woman. And we left hungry without making sandwiches. I am complaining about that woman. She wanted us to be late.
The location of the hotel was in Prater. I liked Prater very much. The breakfast was clean and had a good variety compared to other places abroad. We liked the coffees very much. There is a metro on both sides, it takes about 6-7 minutes to get there.
