How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The high cost for overnight parking in the hotel which we resolved by parking in a very nearby secure paid parking lot.
Room was quiet, Air-conditioned and comfortable, had everything needed and for a one night more than big enough. The location of the hotel was great, just a few stops of public transport got us into the centre.

A slightly older version of the Ibis hotels. The room was clean, but small. Overall it was ok. Good breakfast.

I don't have anything to complain about. Both my daughter and I were satisfied with your services & cleanliness.
The staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean. The location is also good as it is close to the train station and not so far from the city centre.

Nice quiet location 200m from the underground. Has a number of eating options nearby. Good location to stay if you want to be away fromtourist centre.

The only inconveniences encountered were the lack of a refrigerator and a safe-deposit box in the room.
Very good location, close to the metro and easily accessible by car. Generous underground parking. Everything was as expected, being a very good budget hotel with a fair price-quality ratio. Suitable both for a young couple with a child, as well as for a senior couple

I really recommend this place if you plan to visit Vienna for several days. Rooms are clean with all necessary facilities. Delicious continental breakfast with various meals to choose.

There was no phone whatsoever, so even if we needed help, we had to go downstairs to the lobby, which is not pleasant at all. No safe in a room, but we we let to leave our things at the lobby's safe, which, I suppose , was even better
We loved the breakfast,which was very fresh and had a variety of options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quite. The rooms were not too big.

We didn't feel really welcomed by the staff member who checked us in. He seemed to be unhappy of being there. I missed a kettle available in the room.
Good size room with air conditioning, which helped us to sleep better.

Cleanliness, nearby U-Bahn. Staff friendly. Rooms good and beds just fine. Breakfast very good. Quiet and cozy.
The breakfast was really good, staff really helpful and kind. Clean, cozy hotel. It was very hot in Vienna and the air- conditioning was working perfectly. Only about 7 min walk to Margretengürtel U bahn and short trip going to town via Karlsplats and/or to Schönbrunn. Short walk to pub and restaurant. All over really good and will for sure stay again when we come to Vienna.

Super clean and comfortable, houskeeping came multiple times a day and the rooms were spacious and modern. Also quite close to a subway station so that we could easily get into the city center. Some of the staff were also exceptionally kind and friendly.

One small complaint was the lack of a mini fridge which was essential for our waters and chocolates (our visit was during a crazy heat wave).
24 hour reception. Very good location. Close to public transport and supermarkets. The room was spacious with most necessary utilities.

There were some stains on the carpet but other than that all was satisfactory.
Good breakfast. Underground and tram station nearby as well as the grocery shop. Friendly staff. Beds were less soft than in most hotels which I found a very positive thing :)

It should be noted that the room was not in the best condition: stains on the walls and carpet, blinking light bulbs in the bathroom, and signs of wear and tear, although it is generally tried to be kept clean.
Overall a good accommodation option for a few nights in Vienna. Special thanks for the early check-in option, and generally good breakfast food options! Stable wifi for calls.
