Such an atmospheric hotel! It was quirky (in a good way), and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and served by an attentive wait staff. The front desk folks were helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

No drawers in bedroom for clothes and could have done with 2 armchairs instead of one armchair and a stool.

The seating sometimes got a bit chaotic when it was busy and sometimes it was short staffed but the food was good

No fridge or kettle in the room and the bathroom wasn't well designed - the whole room got wet after a shower and there was very little privacy from the bedroom

The room was large and spacious (ideale plus), beautifully presented. The bed was large and very comfortable. We heard almost no noise whilst in our room, it was very quiet and dark at night which was great for sleeping. The breakfast was delicious and very generous! Walkable to many of the main sights but also easy access to a couple of tube stations

Breakfast room is small, so you have to give a time when you want to eat. When on holiday, it would be nice to not have a schedule. I wonder if tables could be put in the lounge area in the mornings to accommodate more people.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are stunning with lovely little touches and gorgeous toiletries. Staff cannot do enough for you; everyone was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice and quality were great.

There is nothing negative to share about our stay!

Simply beautiful! Efficiently arranged, true European style and design. Intimate and personal. Such nice “welcome home” touches including welcome bottle of wine. Beautiful duvets….amazing little blue tooth radio tuned to lounge music next to the bed. Just such attention to detail! Breakfast…..porridge is exquisite! Oatmeal with baked oatmeal on top that is crispy with brown sugar that turns to carmel covered in blueberries! Coffee that can’t be any better anywhere in the world! The small neighborhood is safe and quiet and beautifully lit for evening walks and late shopping! The staff is exceptional! Dyanna and Anna, Dragon and precious Miyla in the dining room! What a team! Don’t miss this incredible hotel as you visit Vienna!

I almost give the 5 stars but unfortunately the last day I waited 25 minutes for my breakfast and I couldn't eat it at the end, because I needed to take a train. So just the end of the stay was negative.

The hotel is really nice and beautiful, classic style with lot of details and really good ammeninites.

Open plan bathroom took some getting used to. Sadly the record player wasn't working during our stay, so we couldn't get to hear the amazing selection of records.

We loved our stay at this fabulous hotel, everything was first class. The decor was beautiful and artistic, jazz age meets Wes Anderson style. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our ideale plus room was wonderful; clean, quiet, comfortable and luxurious, it was hard to get up and go out each morning! The breakfast was as delicious to look at as it was to eat, and the breakfast in room option was a treat. Lots of special touches like a complimentary bottle of wine, and bathrobes to wear. We had fun looking at the records in the brilliant phonothek room, and enjoyed cocktails in glamorous Barfly's. Excellent location, next to the U3 line and a short walk to the museums, cafes etc. We couldn't have hoped for a better or more romantic place to stay in Vienna and are dreaming of coming back one day.

We absolutely loved Hotel Josephine! The staff was wonderful and treated us very well. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were decorated in such a fun way. It was a great location in walking distance to old town, too. We'd definitely stay there again in Vienna!

Our stay at Hotel Josefine was absolutely perfect! The hotel is stunning, staff are lovely and everything is beautiful. The breakfast was a highlight of our stay with amazing choices, staff and setting. The room was beautiful with a vintage aesthetic perfectly matched to the building. Nothing was a bother for staff (including re-filling my teapot for tea hahah!). The bed was super comfortable and the room and the personal touches so lovely.

The location was excellent as the main shopping avenue was 1 minute away and the nearest U bahn was 1 block away. The free breakfast was excellent as was the service throughout our entire stay. We checked in late but someone was available to assist and the process was very easy. The details of the room and common areas were beautiful and unique. We were given a small booklet with suggested locations to enjoy the city's offerings. The complimentary bottle of wine was a very nice touch and overall we enjoyed our stay so much that we would consider staying here again if we are ever in Vienna.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The highlight of this hotel for us was the breakfast, it was amazing, and the staff serving breakfast were just lovely and made our time there so much nicer. The hotel is fun and quirly and really nice, and the location is perfect, walking distance to so many shops and also close to walk to all the Museum's, castles and everything else you would want to see. We would definitely recommend hotel josephine to anyone. If i could give it more than 10 i would.

The pillows whilst luxurious are a bit soft, a firmer option would be welcomed.

Hotel Josefine is a one of a kind experience. The theme of the hotel transports you to a smooth jazz bar of the 1980s-90s. Staff were really friendly and polite, and the breakfast service was exceptional. Also very cool they have the lounge and bar with the smooth music playing for you to relax. Would definitely stay here again!
