Hotel Josefine was perfect in every way. We came here on our honeymoon and the location is fantastic. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the central touristy area of Vienna. There are also dozens of amazing cafes and restaurants within just a few minutes' walk, and there's also an U-Bahn stop right around the corner for going farther afield in the city. The hotel itself is gorgeous and dripping with character. Our room was extremely quiet and everything was super comfortable. On top of that, the staff were all great and spoke multiple languages.

Lots of sandwich shops and cafes but did not find many actual restaurants. Not the fault of Josephine of course but is my observation.

We loved the historical feel of the whole building. The room was spacious and very nicely appointed. All in keeping with the 20's and 30's era. Great ambiance! The bed was super comfortable and the best of our 14 day vacation.

Exceptional service and excellent location. In the vicinity of tons of restaurants and steps away from public transportation. The welcome champagne was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. Will come back!

I did not like the smell in the last room that I state in. It came from the small courtyard outside the window.

The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood, and stiles. It has a fantastic atmosphere and a nice attitude/suggestion with included bottle of wine and water as a complementary in you stay.

Very stylish room interior and beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable. All elements in the interior create an incredible sense of aesthetic satisfaction. Polite staff. Wine upon check-in is a very nice gift, I definitely did not expect this. Location right off Mariahilferstrasse. From my window there was a view of a modern, peaceful courtyard with neat and well cared terraces.

There was very little storage space for clothes and shoes and for us the location was too far from historical/ architectural attractions: a 20/30 minute walk each way.

Breakfast , staff, bar and style of hotel were all excellent as was sound proofing.

The windows in the room were quite high so there was no view and not a lot of light and also (this seems to be problem with most old buildings in Vienna) the windows are not very soundproof and would probably let the cold in over winter. Luckily the street is not too noisy so it was fine. Only one lift so can take a while to catch but if you're on holiday who cares if things take a little longer?

The staff on reception is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Makes you feel welcome straight away. Free wine spritzer is a lovely touch too! The room was large and once we worked out how the lights worked we were really at home. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Did not hear any noise from neighbouring rooms or the lift which you often do in other hotels. The location is great - we needed to be near the west train station the next day and it's also right next to one of the main pedestrian streets in Vienna. Really liked the honesty bar system, vinyl records room and the general quirkiness of the hotel - made it much more interesting than your average hotel. It's a little on the pricey side but then so is Vienna. We didn't try the breakfast. Would stay here again.

The hotel itself is a state of the art, the room was very clean and really nicely decorated and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Also the neighborhood itself has some really nice cafes and restaurants.

No TV in the room, but I gather we could have asked for one. No coffee/tea making facility, but there was no charge when we used room service for these. The hotel location is 2+km from the main attractions and the old city centre, so you need to use public transport to avoid hefty taxi bills.

We stayed for two nights at the end of September 2023, booked basically as somewhere to sleep. The double room was quite small - which we expected. However the decor was excellent - my wife loved it. Also very clean and well maintained. Located right beside the popular Mariahilfer Strass shopping strip. Lots of local convenience stores, bars and food outlets.

Our room didn’t have a lot of natural light but it suited the moody interiors! It wasn’t a problem for us, as it was a short stay but had it been a longer stint I would maybe choose something brighter. Overall still absolutely loved this hotel and would recommend.

Great location and I absolutely loved the aesthetic. Nice bar in the building and a lovely little coffee shop right on the doorstep too.

Absolutely everything is sooooo cool! Location is amazing, 1 min walking to the shopping street. Nearby a bunch of caffees, markets etc. The room is exactly like on the pics! The bar is gorgeous. The stuff is super nice, sweet and helpful. The atmosphere of the hotel is magnificent Absolutely loved it!!!

Although the breakfast was excellent it was served on a small table. The bathroom was quite peculiar with only a curtain separating it from the room and a sliding door between the shower and the toilet...
