Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandIt met our expectations, so nothing that we didn’t like.
We didn’t do breakfast as for €28 each we thought that it was a bit expensive and wanted to wander about and eat where we liked the look of the nice little restaurants.

IrelandVery difficult to say much here. The pillows were too soft. Breakfast was VERY expensive at €28 per person. We did not eat at the hotel for this reason. There are loads of nice places to eat either at Rennweg station or in the underground shopping at Karlsplatz
Room was great. Perhaps a little on the small side but given we were out and about all the time we didn't need a bit room. The pillows were very soft so if you like this then great, however we like a more firm pillow so that could have been better. Location is excellent. Wien Rennweg only around the corner som transport was very handy and cheap from the airport as S7 was right there. No need for the more expensive CAT.

NetherlandsBreakfast is too expensive and especially for people who eat 1 croissant, 1 sandwich and a cup of tea.
The room was excellent! A bit noisy when opening the windows since the room was facing the main street. Breakfast was quite expensive (€ 28 pp and hence € 84 for 3 persons) and hence we decided to have breakfast at a nearby place for a fraction of the price.

AustraliaI didn't like that our bed was to single beds put together instead of double size.
Breakfast was great and tasty! Amenities were good- gym and spa. We rented bicycles for 15 euro per person for the day and toured the city which was very nice. Location was very comfortable- waking distance for the touristy attractions, right by the Belvedere Gardens.

GermanyThe wifi was terrible in the room and in other parts of the hotel. Despite complaining many times nothing was done and the front office manager was really not good. His explanation was that a lot of people are using wifi and hence it was weak, This was a really unacceptable explanation. The hot water was not okay and during my last day I had to have a bath with cold water. When I complained to the same front office manager, he simply said that there were too many guests using hot water and hence it was cold and that I must keep it running till hot water comes. It did not happen and this is not the first time that I am using hot water in my life. Why do you have such front office managers and this is not the first time that I am staying in hotels and am travelling a lot. There is no telephone landline in the room, so in case I need to call the reception for anything I have to go down? Impossible. I got a message for automatic check out on mail and when I tried it did not work, so I had to go down for the check out. I asked for a second room key card as I wanted to insert in into the electricity slot and got it. I was then out for work and when I got back in the evening, it was gone and I had to go down to get another one. I have mobile devices which I put on charge when I am out and hence need the second key card. At the time of check in I was asked to tell them in case I did not want my room cleaned? Why ? I have never had such questions asked of me? The staff were friendly but the front office manager was really not a hotelier as answers such as a lot of people are using wifi and hence it was weak and that hot water was not coming since a lot of people are using hot water is absolutely absurd. You must really look into his attitude. I am also in the hospitality business and am not the fussy type, but this experience was simply not amusing. Also at the time of check out when I asked the front office manager to waive my parking charges as a gesture he simply refused
Only the room and bathroom. the fitness gym and sauna was good.

IsraelThe only thing we were missing were some more hooks to hang towels and cloths. When couples arrive, they should be given the choice for a double instead of separate blankets
The staff is very friendly, the room was very clean. Breakfast was amazing with a variety that will suit everyone, from crispy bacon, eggs, cold cuts, various types of breads, fruits yogurt and more. There is a tram stop just outside of the hotel and the Renweg train station is only 5 minutes walk. There is a sauna on the 7th floor available for the guests free of charge. We had a great time!
