Our stay at Design Hotel Miramonte in Bad Gastein was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautifully designed space that blends modern elegance with a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and offer breathtaking views of the mountains—waking up to that scenery was a dream! The hotel’s spa and wellness area were the perfect retreat after a day of exploring, and the food was simply outstanding—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special, always attentive and friendly. Whether you’re here for relaxation or adventure, Miramonte has everything you need for an unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely a 10/10

The hotel is definitely very nice. But some things are not very practical. I understand it’s a design hotel, which doesn’t go hand in hand with practicality, but for example, a full body mirror would be nice to have in the room. Also, the bathroom is very spacious, which is nice, but the lighting was very dim. And last but not least, and this probably only affects 1% of visitors, the wifi in the room was practically nonexistent. If you are on a true vacation, this shouldn’t be an issue at all. But I had to work evenings, and it was challenging.

Breakfast was delicious! I am not vegan, but the vegan dishes were amazing! The sauna was perfect after a full day of skiing! The staff was extremely professional and friendly! The views from the hotel were wowing. The shuttle service to the slopes was wonderful. The hotel itself had very cozy and quaint feel to it. The bed was super comfortable and the ski room had warming boot hangers!

One of the best stays of my life. Great hotel with breathtaking views. Nice and cozy room, extra comfortable bed. The great terrace and variety of food in the buffet are huge. Saunas could be a bit bigger, the hotel was fully booked, so it was a bit crowded, but still there was space to lie and we still didn't have to wait.

There were no glasses or mugs in the sauna area during our stay (3 days), therefore it was impossible to drink water or tea that are there available to guests. We brought our bottles.

Everything was great. The room was tiny but really perfect for us. Bed a bit soft but we slept like babies: the pillows, duvets and bedsheet are super. The breakfast is varied and the offer is very wide. In the price you also have the afternoon soup and cakes, which goes ahead until 17:00. Great relaxing area with many many architecture books and bar with excellent view over the mountains. Two saunas available, with floating resting beds or just hanging seats outside on the balcony. As a plus, if you are into hiking, the trail to reach Graukogel starts just behind the hotel.

It is an excellent place to take the vacation! I haven't felt this welcome and relaxed in a very long time! It has perfect location, the terraces with views are providing a lot great and comfortable places to relax and the extra bonus in form of small "jause" with tasty soup, home made bread and cakes was just topping the amazing experience! Thank you for great stay, it was very enjoyable!

This hotel is incredible for short- and longterm stays, breakfast is amazing, additional lunch is a great option and a dinner was just delicious. The room was squeaky clean and comfy, the spa area was nice with options of the massage, scrubbing, facials and thermal baths. All in all this hotel is great, feels like little American home in such a quiet beautiful place. I saw a lot of the people being pissed here in the comments about the WiFi, but for me it was actually not a problem. The WiFi works great in a lounge area and restaurant.

A mirror in the entrance area or somewhere in the room would have helped 3 ladies a lot sharing one room together. One mirror in the bathroom just was not enough.

The location is fantastic and the food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) was exceptional. We only booked breakfast initially, but after looking at dinner tables we opted for full board. Spa treatments were nice but nothing special, room was comfortable and clean.

There was hardly anything that I didn’t like. Some parts of the hotel saw their age. The parking area is rather small with very few slots. Eventually, I parked on the road by the entrance so not a big problem.

I liked the design of the hotel (especially the placement and the collection of the books all around the hotel), and my room was large and well designed and decorated. The location was great and the breakfast exceptional with many health options. Going to people now, all the staff was great and friendly and the lady who owns the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful with an amazing positive energy. Her husband was very professional and courteous, too. Finally, we really liked the other guests in the hotel. There was a superb vibe and energy in the place.

Nice location, close to the city center and lift without the noise or crowd. Nice bar, breakfast is amazing.
