Everything was very good to excellent.

The location was in the center of the city with tram service a few steps away. We were also within easy walking distance of the funicular that took us to the top of Schlossberg. The room was a suite and was tasteful and large and appointed with fine furniture. Breakfast was a buffet with everything anyone could need.

It is an old building but first room was unacceptable because floor creaked super loud with EVERY step. Changed to better room that had NO outlet in bathroom…it also faced street where trams ran from 5AM to past midnight, not too noisy but some drunks yelled til early morning. Not anything Hotel can do about .

Parking procedure was complicated on first arrival and rather stressful but really to be expected in such a central spot.

The floors could be cleaner. I was wearing black socks to and from the bathroom and they got quite dirty from those few steps.

This is a very charming hotel in an old building with an eye catching foyer full of flowers in pots. It is very quaint with it's uneven floors and creaky floorboards, but this is a part of it's charm. You feel like you are staying in a historical building. The staff was very nice, spoke good English and helped us with the parking (the parking garage is bit confusing, but manageable). I also asked for a room with a bath which I got and am very grateful. We didn't choose the breakfast option because the price of almost 20 eur seems a bit high, but then again you do get to enjoy it in the beautiful and very instagrammable foyer. :) I appreciate that the windows could be opened normally. The bed is firm, which I like, and the two pillows are perfect so you can choose which one you prefer. The location is really, REALLY central, you really have everything at hand, and the overnight parking is still very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in such locations.

very very Slow wifi and room design

Good location, very very slow WiFi. Spacious room, but with very strangely located steps, I almost felt down twice going from room to bathroom. Good service, they even left me birthday wish and chocolate for my birthday.

Lovely old fashioned but very comfortable hotel. Decor was not up to date but I’d say it adds to its charm. Breakfast area overlooked but loads of pot plants and a glass ceiling. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Location was very central and easy to access main square and tourist attractions.

Noisy floorboards in the room.

Nice and friendly staff. Historical old hotel with a good breakfast. Large comfortable rooms but unfortunately the aged floorboards in the room were very noisy which wasn't great. I understand the hotel is old but the was a negative for me. Great location to the centre of town.

Palais serving as a hotel since 1850 or so. So they really know what means to have a guest. Corridors serve also as a kind of winter garden. Members of staff are attentaitve. Room itself is high enough to put another room above your room and still keep some space. Not an ordinary hotel. With all comfort you need though.

the old wooden floor was a bit noisy. The fact they use twin mattress for double bed wasn’t very convenient.

I would have appreciated the option just to take coffee for breakfast... coffee is good in the morning, but no way would I want to chomp my way through 20 something Euros at that time of day.

The mattresses were as old as the beautiful building I believe. Hence, they were not really comfortable. They should be replaced in a four-star hotel

The bathroom of the room could have been a bit cleaner. There was mould on the tile grouting and around the bathtub. The bathtub itself was also difficult to get into and out of.

Excellent location for exploring Graz. Historic building was beautiful and very romantic to stay in. Loved the real, living plants and the cocktail bar and staff in it were exceptional.

There was not blackout in the window, so we couldnt sleep very well. The bed is a little bit old and too soft

The bathroom is poorly equipped and is lacking storage shelves. Had to keep bathroom things in the bedroom. The single bathroom light is pointing at the bed so the sleeping partner is woken up if using toilet at night.

Location is superb, perfect to go around. Possibility to get a parking in the nearby garage is also very helpful. Staff is friendly and helpful.
