The bed was very soft and a bit uncomfortable.

Right in the center of old Vienna, short walk to the opera house, all the old caffes, restaurants and museums. we never took a bus or a taxi, just walked everywhere. Breakfast was also very nice, but lack vegan options.

room was a little warm, but I figured out how to turn down the heating and there was a window that opened so that helped.

the room was very clean, every day someone came in and cleaned it up. even folding my pjs for me. the shower was amazing! great water pressure and I even managed to have a bath also while I visited. staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, booking dinner reservations for me and allowing me to leave my bag after check out. really appreciated the later check out of 12 moon. also the location is so central it’s fantastic,

Breakfast could be richer and more varied. For four nights there was no difference once, and no variety. The breakfast restaurant could be brighter.

The staff welcomed us as longtime regulars. It makes you feel like you're in the right place and it's that special place. The room is large with a view of the heart of the pedestrianized city center. Attention is in order. Creates the feeling of a home that awaits you. Rooms with natural parquet. A vintage feel and a wink to bygone eras in every detail without being tired and old. And just comfortable. The bathroom is wide with a comfortable bathtub. Over 200 engravings of Vienna from the 18th century are spread over the floors of the hotel. A permanent exhibition with a high value for the attention of guests. We actually had a kind of gallery in the hotel. Only one building separates the hotel from the Cathedral of St. Stefan. The bells of the cathedral further lift the spirits of the guests. Local newspapers are available in the lobby. Smokers can smoke comfortably at the wooden tables in front of the hotel, which are part of the breakfast restaurant. At the reception, they have suggestions for every tourist taste and interest. The panoramic restaurant has a direct view of the dome of the cathedral. The metro station is right in front of the hotel. A shuttle bus to the airport is a 7-minute walk away. The ideal walkable city center is right outside the door. The rooms are quiet. You can buy a souvenir real cake with an order at the reception.

The hotel does not actually have its own parking but a deal with a public garage five minutes away on foot and it costs 35 EUR per day.

It is very centrally located. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The furniture is old but everything is very clean.

The Royal Hotel has an unequalled location as it is in the very center of Vienna just a few steps from St. Stephen's Cathedral. Indeed it was possible to reach every attraction by walking. The hotel personnel were extremely friendly and helpful, they were able to meet our requests and needs. The room was very airy, spacious and comfortable as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was rich in choices both sweet and savory.
