Rooms would need a need of an upgrade, amenities are a bit old. Cleaning is not spotless and I would appreciate a bit more attention to detail. Towels have a distinct smell of humidity, for example. In general experience is not the best, but location makes up for it.

Perfect location, in the very center. Rooms are well equipped, air conditioning worked well. In general well cleaned.

There are renovation works happening to the floors in the hotel which wasn't flagged ahead of time, and it really is a very busy area which could be annoying if that's not your sort of thing. While I appreciate vintage style, a touch of updating would go a long way (which might be the renovations happening?). The wifi is Freewave, which is very common in Vienna, so it's not the hotels fault but Freewave is not reliable or particularly fast. Main thing I was disappointed by was it really was very expensive compared to other hotels which tick all the same boxes with a nicer vibe.

Traditional style hotel in a very good location for exploring and shopping, close to the palaces and main sites. Has strong vintage vibe decor, with lots of red carpets and gilded mirrors. Comfy beds, rooms were super clean, and good sized. Didn't try breakfast but options look good.

You could find a better option and nice staff with the value of money you pay. Staff was not that good, you have to wait for a while to get the key every time you come in. The staff was only serving one at a time and keep you waiting.

The breakfast’s quality was not great and the food was cold.

The location is the best in Vienna, right beside the cathedral and very central. The hotel was very clean, the room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend it. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurants.

Hotel very outdated and tired looking. In desperate need of modernisation. They stop serving food at 9:30 and breakfast was limited and disappointing.

The hotel is located in the center of shopping street. 2 or 3 mins from the subway station, very convenient. Room is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Honestly very very noisy. Not sure it can be helped given the location. Bells from church are very loud - I actually love that and I love sleeping through the bells, but keep that in mind if you are sensitive to them. Lots of loud noises of drilling from the street and other customers. I am not a sensitive sleeper so this is not a complaint, but keep it in mind if you want to stay in this location

the bed was a bit hard for my preference. the pillows weren’t very good, even with an extra second pillow from reception and a blanket found in the cupboard used as a pillow, it was not enough. the windows don’t open in the rain so the room was a bit stuffy, however there is food AC for the summer months.

the location of this hotel is fantastic. it is right outside the metro station for line 1 & 3, and within walking distance of most city attractions. there are multiple dining options close by. the room was listed as a single room, however was very spacious and featured a couch and a double bed. however, there was only one single duvet and pillow provided. extra pillows are available at reception when you ask. my room had a small bathtub aswell which was a nice extra. the room was very clean with nice big windows and natural light.

No draught beer, only bottles!! Rooftop bar could not be accessed on sat evening as private party was booked in - this was particularly annoying as this was one of the reasons I booked the hotel, if I don’t have the use of all the facilities thats false advertising!!

The pillows are rubbish, far too soft and lumpy. No bar just for drinks, you have to get from the adjoining restaurant and sit in the very brightly lit reception area.

The room was a sort of service premise: no actual window (overlooking an inner wall a meter away, no direct sunlight, terrible electric lights, the air-conditioning did not work.

The location was the only good thing about this. And probably the breakfast. Everything else was more than a disaster.

The room was at 8th floor and most of the time too hot. Window could just be opened a couple of decimeters and when closing it (by machinery, only option) it beeped loudly. The beds were not soft.

How is it possible that a four stars hotel that costs 200€ + doesn't have it's own Wifi?? It was the city Wifi that just during the stay we understood that it is disconnected each 45 minutes and it made us miss massages from our guide... In the services it was written that there will be kettle in the room and when we asked for one they said that we should use the water from the coffee machine (which are, well, with coffee).

The location was the best ever!!! On the subway and near everything. It was clean and the bed was a large double bed.

The beds are horrible, I slept on the couch which. On our last night there was loud bass music playing, we were on the 8th floor so I’m not sure where it was coming from. It woke me from sleeping and I’m a heavy sleeper.
