How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The check-in machines function poorly. We witnessed three other customers using it and everyone struggled and some had to call the support. On top of that, the machine shows all personal data on a large screen for everyone to see. Less than OK! The biggest issue was the bathroom. It is effectively a tiny wet room with a small sink, a toilet and a shower that has no tray. That would not be a problem per se but it is a problem when the shower drains are not working and you get a standing drain water in the shower in the first 10 seconds of your shower. Unhygienic and gross. At closer inspection, you can see mould in multiple places in the bathroom. The blocked drain then releases a stinky odour that you end up sleeping in. Nauseating. The room was tiny, the walls were scuffed. It'd appear that the primary goal for the design of this place was the lowest cost possible while customer happiness was very low on the list of priorities. The combination of the very poor design and clearly non-existent or very shoddy maintenance results in a disappointing customer experience. No amount of "cute" graphics suggesting how good a "SLEEEP" you get in this place can change that.

Perfect location for a short sleep over if travelling. The heating was on when we arrived which was great, clean room and extremely easy self check in. No waiting time, very smooth stay and check in

Breakfast was horrible and not worse the money. We got asked to get everything we want to eat as she wants to put away all the food about 45minutes before breakfast closes. Not very friendly. She gave us the feeling that we are disturbing here.

It was difficult to self check-in. We had 2 rooms booked, but got only one card, and had to call for the other room's check in. It was late and it took time to solve their problem with the booking.

No reception and no lobby. Some of the rooms were moldy and the air-conditioning was not clean. Our last day we tried the breakfast, but this was very minimal.

I liked the hotel's location close to the highway, so you don't have to go far and look for a hotel. Good underground parking, clean and comfortable rooms

Didn’t like anything about this place. I booked 2 rooms and I asked for a room that would take a disabled guest with wheelchair…. Didn’t get one.. the room was so small it looked like a cell. I asked our rooms to be close to each other, didn’t get that either, we where on separate floors. It looked like a “pay by the hour” type place. You pay for a room, no eating facilities, no drink facilities! This wasn’t a hotel, no reception, no staff, pillows hard, towels had a funny smell, bathroom had a sewer smell, the bed was okish. Would we stay again? Not on your life!

Clean and tidy. Superior place for a stay in Linz or overnight while traveling the A2 motorway. Comfortable beds and bathroom. Self check-in quite easy. The rooms are quiet despite their location in the vicinity of the motorway

they changed just the covers in front of me, and the previous person who left was a smoker, the whole room, bed, everything dirty smelly. the workers dont respond to questions.
