A traveller friendly hotel, budget wise and location.Very conveniently located 2 blocks from main railway station, access to city centre by tram or take an easy 1.5 km walk along the main road from the station. Room size is usual for this type of hotel, not overly big, decor is basic, perfect for short stays. Bed is comfortable, black out blind and curtain, linen and towels of quality. Hot water supply and wi fi connection excellent. Note, there is no fridge.

The front desk employee (a very tall and thin man) was rude and aggressive. He took a long time to give us the rooms. When we mentioned to him we didn't want to have breakfast in the morning because we weren't sure if taking it or not, he looked at us annoyed. He also sold us an expensive bottle of water (€4.50). Regarding the rooms. The single room was the worst room I have ever stayed in a hotel. The single-bed room #314 was very old, the bed very small, and too warm inside. What annoyed me the most is the smell of cigarette during the whole stay. The smell never went away (even during the night), the kettle to heat water didn't work because when it was plugged in, all the electricity in the room went off. Additionally, you could hear the voices of people in the hallway. It was not worth it for the price payed. I do regret about booking this hotel.

Very unpleasant smell in the reception area, some stains on the wall in the room. Room was very small and got really hot during the night. Area around the hotel is littered with night clubs and very noisy.

The room had two tea packets for us - one fruit, one black, but they were not topped off for our second night, do the only choice was to drink black tea in the evening. Very minor issue, but still.

Location was excellent, very short walk to the central rail station and a 10-15min walk to most sightseeing. Breakfast was good, with a choice of breads and pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, spreads and cereals. Check in and check out were fast and painless.

Our room was dated, which we didn’t mind (got a sneak peak in another room on the floor and it was renovated). But the bed was horrible- very hard mattress that makes you turn around a lot and when you do the bed squeaks (a lot!) and wakes the other.

Location was OK. Only 20 min by walk from the center, but noisy due to proximity of the main train station and the traffic around. Staff was nice

Great staff, comfortable rooms, everything clean with good breakfast, near to tramstation and with parkplaces for visitors. 15 min walk to center. Graz is beautifull and it was very pleasent weekend.
