The bed mattress and pillows below expectations, very uncomfortable. And also, the vegetables at breakfast (tomatoes, peppers) were not fresh at all. The sliding glass door in the bathroom is not a very good choice, besides the fact that it is difficult to use (it is heavy, creaky and makes noise - unpleasant especially at night) it also does not offer privacy.

The location makes all money. The metro station is at 5min walk distance, several landmarks very close (Stephan Cathedral and Mozart house at 10 min). Decent breakfast with a couple of gluten free options, very good coffee/expresso and fresh juice made on place.

It may not bother others but I cannot sleep in a room that had light or blinking things. The air con has two very bright lights and then a bright white blinking light that for me is the equivalent to a light house warning ships! I have to get creative and cover the unit just to sleep. I also had a small single room which is okay for one person but after 3 nights it gets too cosy. I appreciate the layout of the single room to have the bed in the middle so it doesn’t feel like you’re a child in the corner, however this left no space for my suitcase to stay open. Each morning I had to close it up again just so there’s space for house keeping as the only area it could fit was the entry into my room (which technically is a safety hazard in an emergency). I find rooms in Europe don’t accomodate for luggage!

The location was amazing. I walked to all the Christmas markets several times a day and found it easy and well located for this. The lady who checked me in was so friendly, and gave me a Christmas markets map and restaurants map which I found great and very personal! Quiet location and safe as well.

Minor items - - sliding door in bathroom is a great idea in theory but did not work well in practice (Clanky, noisy, loose) - we had trouble with the window not closing properly. This led to a poor nights sleep on a couple of nights due to the noise outside (people back late, vehicles passing, storm). -Toilet moved when sat on. -Wall adjacent to toilet needs good clean as many pee-stains seen from certain angle (not immediately obvious).

First and foremost, its location in the heart of the city, less than a block from Kärtnerstrasse. Second, its comfort: lovely beds, well-laid-out bathroom and shower , sufficient electronic hookups, and room for everything. And third, its calm, efficient, and friendly front-desk staff.

Breakfast and the location were perfect. The location was right in the center of Vienna where you can reach all the touristic places on foot.

Poor quality pillows really need to be upgraded . Not enough storage for clothes, could do with another drawer or two.

Hotel was in a great location with easy access to city transport and top attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good size room but maybe could do without so much furniture in it. Bathrobes and slippers a lovely touch.

Bar shut too early for me. 10.10pm on a Sunday - too early for a hotel bar. Barman was unhelpful and abrupt. In the evening bar staff were setting up the breakfast stuffin the bar and it was noisy and unacceptable when you wanted a quiet drink. Only 2 chairs in the reception area - insufficient.

The rooms were comfortable and warm if a little noisy on occasions with the roadworks outside. Good powerful shower and coffee making facility. Towels changed regularly.

I liked everything about the hotel. Warm and friendly service and the room was kept to a high standard throughout my stay.

The location was perfect and just off the main street. It was very quiet but so convenient for the cathedral and all the shops.
