The location requires a fairly long walk to the main city ring area. But it is a pleasant walk. Or you can take the subway to Rathaus station which is quite nearby the hotel.

Superb breakfast was a big bonus. Friendly staff, clean room, and nice family-run vibe. Very near are two supermarkets and it is in a quiet area. I would stay here again for sure and it is good value.

The decor throughout was rather basic and outdated. The bathroom was small. Our particular room had no view. Worth upgrading to a view/balcony in the summer. Couldn't work out how to turn off the radiator at night but the windows opened in a way that meant we still had good security.

The shower (no bath) water was hot and the pressure powerful. Decent sized room. The beds were comfortable and linen spotlessly clean. Room was warm. An excellent buffet breakfast was included. Only about 10mins or so walk from the Museum district and a longer but still quite easy walk to Stephansplatz. Good neighbourhood restaurants very close. Staff brought a second pillow almost instantly. VERY quiet.

Location was perfect for visiting numerous Christmas markets and close to many bus routes. Lovely complimentary warm fruit punch with gingerbread biscuits in the reception area of the hotel. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast with lots of variety and good coffee. Room was a great size with balcony and view over the back garden, very quiet location. Plenty of storage space, power outlets and modern bathroom. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Zipser.

No microwave to warm something as simple as a soup. Otherwise, the staff was very helpful and warm.

The location is very central to getting to most attractions. My room was small but cozy. It would have been nice to have access to a microwave even at the office. Breakfast was good.

Stayed for 4nights and the hotel staffs are generally nice. However, on my last day the cleaning staff entered my room at 9am while I was still inside, few hours before my checkout time, then proceeded to open the toilet while I was using it and saw me half-dressed! Reported it to the reception when I checked out and they promised to deal with the cleaning staff immediately. I do hope they did! So far this is the only major issue I've encountered.

The common parts needed redecorating and were shabby. The reception staff were not particularly friendly especially one in particular when we were leaving.

The hotel was easy to find in a great area on a quiet road with plenty of transport nearby Helpful and friendly staff especially Hilda who researched some vegan eating places and emaled them to me Breakfast had lots of items to choose from and was replenished often The room was a good size with tea and coffee and a fridge with cold drinks. The breakfast was varied but the croissants and granola ran out quickly. Would prefer the seeded bread to have been already sliced first hygiene purposes.

Great location, just a short walk to Rathausplatz Christmas market, staff were very friendly, room was spacious + clean and there was a good selection of breads/cheeses/meats/eggs/fruits/yoghurt etc at breakfast. Close to several tram stops so convenient to get around the city from + also within a short walk to several cafes/shops/restaurants etc but room was quite. I would've felt safe walking round this location on my own. I would definitely stay here again.
