breakfast: quality of the scrambled eggs: too clotted and seemed tasteless. needed variety of hot food. a strange smell in bathroom if the fan was not kept on : presumably from the old city gutters.

central location. excellent room with garden view and private balcony. the room was large, with excellent lighting all around. hotel reception staff : Alexander, Hilde and Claudia, extremely helpful. answered all our queries and we got excellent restaurant suggestions from them. thank you . the room service (cleaning) was good and prompt. they had a folding table for one's suitcase. the dining room lady was energy on two legs: worked full speed cleaning up tables etc.

the toilets were the old fashioned "poop shelf" German style, which I find very gross. the kid of the toilet seat didn't stay folded up properly and would sometime fall and touch my back which was also super gross. the balcony was shared with another room which made the room feel less private, and also meant that I couldn't open the window for fresh air since the neighbours smoke would come through

the location was very good, and it was very clean and decently spacious. the bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent, good pressure, rain shower, and no water leaking onto the floor

Room was noisy - I requested a quiet one - owing to windows opening onto an inner court which gathered the noise of all adjoining rooms in the block and acted as an echo chamber; had to resort to ear-plugs. I didn't like sharing the tiny room with the washing and toilet facilities in the same space; I would expect them to be separate. Single bed (for a big, tall person) provided no space and one couldn't turn because one could either hit the wall or fall out.

Size of room, very small. Tired and in need of refurbishment. Lack of toiletries (only soap dispenser). So called City View, building opposite. No WiFi in room, although so called premium room.??

Didn't test hot, only continental which was acceptable. The lady receptionist was very helpful. Prior to arriving, did an upgrade from standard to premium via booking.com. Expected original room to be automatically cancelled, not so. Had to pay 1 night no show for standard room, in addition to premium room. Something for future bookees to remember.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Vienna! It was conveniently located near the charming old town and we were able to easily rent bikes using our smartphones for hassle-free transportation. The rooms were top-notch, offering comfort and amenities. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They were funny too! So helpful leaving, greeted as at 3am with tea. There was one misunderstanding about paying the night before, but I think that was lack of communication between them. It was really no big deal.

Elevator was inconvenient. It has second door and is quite small.

Awesome hotel. Super helpful personnel. They even let us in in 9 a.m., when actual check-in was starting at 2 p.m. Inside interior was gorgeous (like everything in Vienna). It is walking distance from city center and big transport hubs. And if you really do not want to walk - tramp 2 and bus 5 is in a 1 min walk distance. Breakfast was quite standard, but it's ok.

It is very hard to find what we didn't like, but my wife didn't like the arrangement that we needed to return the key to the reception every time we left the hotel. she found it very oldish.

We liked everything. The hotel was as expected very near the 3 Christmas markets. When we needed to reach far places there was tram number 2. We also liked very much the help we received from the reception it was very helpful. Also breakfast was good.
