How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was perfect for an overnight stay (would have glady stayed longer!) Breakfast buffet had enough variety both warm and cold options, coffee and juices were great, room was quiet and comfy (although my husband said was a little on the soft side), wonderful private bathroom. Hope to come back again!

No complaints here! Everything met or exceeded our expectations.
The location is very central and charming. It is across the street from a local farmer's market with many cafe's, bars and restaurants nearby. We travelled by train and it is a short walk to the train station. From the moment we arrived the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. Overall just a great and welcoming vibe.

Very nice hotel not far from City centre. Recommendable. Compfy bed, good shower and good heating. Enjoyed it. Can't advise on breakfast or restaurant.

I still rate this property well but if these items are important to you, you should be aware: No air conditioning (didn’t need it in November); No kettle or fridge. WiFi is Captive and have to keep logging in as it drops out after a certain time. Bath towels are a bit thin.
Friendly staff; windows provide good soundproofing; comfortable bed though a bit softer than usual; good water pressure.

Wifi does kick you out all the time (times out? I don’t know. When you are connected it is very strong however.
Lovely little Inn with lots of character. Restaurant downstairs seems to be popular with the locals, thats a good sign. I did like the food. Quiet location.

Nothing really.
Perfect place for a solo traveller/couple. Friendly staff. There's a bar/restaurant beneath but you don't hear a sound. Lovely place.

There is no lift and those with lots of luggage would find the stairs difficult

The only minor thing is that there were some more rowdy guests which made me wake up on a few occasions. So, it might not be the quietest hotel, but it certainly exceeded expectations otherwise.
The staff and the breakfast were excellent with lots of options, especially local food options. The coffee was also fresh. The location is ideal for Graz with everything within walking distance. There's a folder in the room with all relevant information for Graz which I found very helpful.

Nothing major, but just the lack of an elevator to go with big or several luggages. Anyway, just something to be known in advance, not an actual problem (in my case). They helped me anyway at my arrival.
The place is comfortable, beautifully decorated, the staff very friendly and the food was excellent.

The shower was really small.

I lost the key of my luggage's locker, and the receptionist helped me suggesting me some places where to go. She was kind and prepared, I have to thank her! The room was clean and with all the common services.

It is not possible to put the key in the door inside, which would make me more secure. Staff impersonal.
