How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A bit far from attractions in Baku, but walkable 25 min. Use Bolt App. very cheap.
The room was large like the photo, very good breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful

The staff is very friendly and excellent, they are always ready to assist. Breakfast is delicious, you can choose and order different meals. Location is very good, 20 min walking to the city center. And there is a great restaurant "Medalyon" for having dinner and/or drink next to the hotel which works during the night.

There were small issues but I think these were more to do with language barriers and our specific needs and were resolved promptly with no problem!
Breakfast was tasty and fresh! Staff were really good and efficient at managing any problems and arranging day trips for us. Emin and Turkan made us feel at home and always were smiling and helpful! The drivers who took us to excursions were really good (Sameer, Kamraan and Ali (Alikram). Overall a great stay and we look forward to coming back soon! Oh yeah you must try sweets from the Almond Bakery across the road. Thank you for a lovely stay in Parallel Hotel!

it was noisy at night in general the street is noisy

Wonderful hotel, very clean room, comfortable bed, great breakfast with a variety of offerings and very supportive staff that helped with all requests I had. Excellent location, close to many restaurant and cafés, bus stops, the metro and 25 mins walk from the old town. Will definitely be coming back.

The Hotel is very clean. The rooms are huge and very well equipped. The location is great with bars and restaurants and shops all close by and is close to all the public transport links. All the staff were lovely especially the night manager Emin he went above and beyond to help us.

All staff was very very kind! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and fresh each morning. Also, we could ask to prepare breakfast anytime we wanted so we could fit breakfast to our trips. Strongly recommend this hotel!

It was a little small problem at the departure with the driver for the car rented for transfer to the airport. He understand another departure hour from the hotel to airport. They solved in 10 minutes.
The property was situated close to the city center. The rooms have nice design and we have a large and recently renovated bathroom. They cleaned the room every day, and changed the towels. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was very good and consistent.

Nothing complained.
Feels like home. Everything is close by. Groceries, supermatket, bakery and many more. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely I will come again and again. Deserve the price every penny.

The hotel is very minimalistic with all the essentials. cleaning is done on a daily basis and the cleaning ladies are such a joy .
This hotel has some of the friendliest people. They arranged airport transfer for me at the last minute and also offered transportation for me to the mall to get a few things of course

I like everything
