How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower design and ventilation in the bathroom could be improved because the bathroom remained very damp after a shower. Unfortunately, only instant coffee was available at breakfast, and you had to pay extra for coffee from the coffee maker.
The hotel is close to Sarajevo's main attractions and has parking spaces (extra pay), which is a definite advantage. The room had ample space and a huge, comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent, especially the local bread.

The water system is loud

1. The parking is not reserved. We had to find a place to park for so.e long time and making rounds. Finally we parked on the other side of the road on the highway going through the city. 2. The coffee on breakfast is for additional fee.

Breakfast was very good but almost every day they ran out of items, especially fruit. Front desk seemed a bit disorganized. Asked for payment after we had already paid. But overall, they were accommodating and helpful.
Great location. Clean, comfortable, well stocked room. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a family room with kitchenette but nothing worked. TV included.

They still allow people to smoke in the breakfast room, even with children around. Please change this internal rules, we are on XXI century and smoke should be banned from all indoor places.

Small inconvenience: the design of the shower is somehow inconvenient so it's easy to get the rest of the bathroom wet.
The lady who received us was very welcoming and helpful, she even spoke a little Spanish so we could exchange some words in my mother tongue. The hotel is immediately accessible when arriving by car from the East and it's in a great position to explore the city by foot.

All good really. Low hot water pressure from shower.
Convenient location with parking an extra 5€ per night. The room was tight but the bed large and I slept very well both nights. The breakfast has good healthy options.

The restaurant menu you will find in your room does not correspond to what it actually offers. At breakfast there was a large group of men smoking right behind us, so we couldn't eat.
The hotel is very close to the city centre.

I asked for a kettle because on the booking information it said that it was within the acommodations of the hotel, and the answer from the guy at the reception was that i could drink from the bathroom. Which was absurd. The first day the room's floor was not cleaned and it was full of dirt. On top of everything the bathroom had an awful smell propably from the sewers so we had to keep the door closed all day,
The location is ideal to walk around the Old Town and the city centre. I liked the fact that they changed the sheets and the towels every single day.

This was a wonderful experience and a very welcoming visit of Sarajevo. The best hotel we have been to, near Baščaršija, staff extremely kind, warm, helpful, room very clean and warm, beds great, breakfast enough but really lovely ladies serving it. Surely highly recommended to all visitors. Value for money and wonderful hospitality. Thank you very much, will certainly come back. 🌻💕
