How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Water pressure is bad, not recommended for disabled people, older people, or children because it's a rooftop apartment.

Shower was hand-held only, and could be improved with a mount for the shower head.
Great location. Apartment has everything you need, fridge, laundry, comfy bed, good hot water. Hosts were very responsive.

Being in an old building, this apartment doesn't have elevator and it's on the 3rd floor.
Location of the apartment is just perfect - couldn't think of better position.

Please mind that the apartments are placed on the last floor and there is no lift inside
Cozy and comfortable apartments at the heart of Sarajevo. It is close to the historical centre. Greenmarket is less than a minute walk, there are lots of cafes and bars next to the place. The owner is polite and answers rapidly.

There was nothing we didn't like
Absolutley fabulous accommodation. Perfect location, super clean, tidy, well equipped, and an amazing owner to deal with. We felt extremely safe and it was extremely quiet for us. Plenty of space.I highly recommend this property for anyone travelling to Sarajevo

Location is excelent, it is located in City center so main activities are close and in the walking distance. There is nearby parking which makes drive and stay in city center also convinient. Apartment is quite spacious and has all utilities.

There are two apartments on the same floor, you could hear some noise from the other apartment - this was not a problem at all, but in order to give it a fair review, I find it neccesary to say it so that the travellers are ready, if this happens. What do I mean by noise? In the evening, when we went to bed, I heard some indistinctive chatter and I thought that it was from my kids who slept in the other room. Nothing really, just I was surprised as it seemed as if it had been in the same apartment.
The location of the apartment is great. The stay exceeded my expectations, the photos do not do it justice - it is even better when you arrive there.

Only drawback was, that the apartment was located on the 3rd floor without an elevator. It surely was a good workout! :) Also, there is no view due to it being an attic apartment.
Very modern and very comfortable apartment. It is located right in the centre of Sarajevo. Everything is within walking distance. The host is very friendly and the check-in/-out was no problem at all.

The apartment has very thin walls to the apartment next to it. If you have a little louder neighbours in the apartment next to you, you WILL notice. Also, the faucet was loose in the bathroom. the Other than that, great stay.
Modern furniture and great location in the centre of the city. It’s nice and tidy, and the host is very nice.

The apartment was fantastically appointed-we had everything we needed and more!! The washer and dryer was so convenient. The location was so great to be able to walk to anything, tons of restaurants and shopping! Also you can burn many calories hiking up the stairs to the apartment 😂 Also the host is on top of responding-like within a few minutes!! Great property!
