How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only thing - is parking. It is free but public, streets are very narrow, there are a lots of cars, and you shouldn’t leave any belongings inside the car as windows can be broken to steal them. We were a little nervous about this.
Light, spacious, modern apartment. Good interior and furniture. There is everything you need in the kitchen, even some spices. And many staff in the bathroom - shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads. Apartment is very close to the brewery and to the old quarter. Very nice host)

This is not a big issue. It would be nicer if the apartment owner were to WhatsApp or reach out to us, instead he asked us to WhatsApp him beforehand. And let him know 45 mins before we reach. For tourist who are busy on the road, or like us we did not have internet, this can be quite a hassle. Overall, decent stay.
Comfortable, clean, decently big size apartment, good bed. Good location. Cute cats outside the property.

I liked that the apartment is cozy, small but has everything. The owners are truly kind and helpful. They even picked us up from the airport. Don’t be fooled with the building because it’s old because the house is comfortable, newly renovated . It has the Tv with cable channels, bathroom new and clean, the kitchen fully equipped.It has really everything for a cozy stay. Very close to the center and also to cable cars for Trebevic from where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the whole city.

No lift
Location is great. The room was so clean and comfy. The only thing is no lift but house of owner’s little son help me out to carry my luggage. The place of the owner and his family is so kind and hospitable.

It very much feels like it is the coziest place we have ever stayed in. All the little things you might need were there. Very comfortable bed, huge shower. 500m to the cityhall.

The bulding and the area in front of the building would require some renewal and maintenance, but some works are ongoing at least in the street. Otherwise would be 10++
The host is great, gentle, helpful and very communicative. The flat is also great, clean and very very close to center in a quiet area. You can find parking easily afte 5pm in the streets around

Amazing place to stay for longer when visiting Sarajevo - perfect location, extremely clean apartment, very comfortable bed and all accessories you may need (including cleaning products, cooking utensils and even pads for ladies). We liked literally everything about it. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, he helped us to park our car, he explained everything thoroughly - thats's the kind of professionalism and hospitability I expect! Loved it, we recommend it to everyone!

All was perfect.
The apartment is located in the vicinity of Bascarsija and centre of the city as well. Even though it is a bit tricky to get there by car as the streets are overcrowded and narrow it is really a worthwhile. The area is very quiet and the apartment is well positioned meaning it isn’t hot at all even though we visited it during a heat wave.

Excellent location just steps from the city center and all major tourist attractions, as well as Sarajevo brewery. Amir went way out of his way to help us with transportation and answer our questions. Super comfortable apartment with all modern amenities.

Tastefully furnished, modern apartment in immediate vicinity to Latin bridge. House located in a quiet area. Apartment beautifully decorated. Owner super friendly, providing us beer and local drinks, and a comfy baby bed for our 9- month-old son. Most beautiful apartment on our 4-week Balkan trip!

The apartment is truly cosy, cute, comfortable. The landlord is lovely. Very nice and welcoming. When i read it was a sofa bed, i was concerned but it is really comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen, clean newly renovated bathroom. Nothing to complain about. Close to center.

The apartment was impeccable! The bed was big and comfortable, as well as the bathroom and shower. Great location, just around the corner of City Hall and just across the street from Sarajevo Brewery. A quiet area, but still close by to everything you need. Nejra and Amir are fantastic hosts. To sum up, Great place to stay!
