Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomextremely helpful staff and the facilities were excellent (games, food, information etc)
We had an issue with our first room. Out of the control of the property and they were extremely helpful in fixing the issue and finding us new rooms. We even ended up with 2 rooms where we had only booked 1.

NetherlandsI was with 2 children 12 / 14 y.o, room was a bit small for us.
This is not the first time we are staying in Adagio Access. This hotel met our expectations as well. Location is excellent - center is within 10min walking, easy to reach with the car, supermarket / pizza is nearby. You will not get bored in the hotel - there are a lot of games, space downstairs where you can relax and chat, books, etc. Very friendly atmosphere. Helpful staff. Room / bathroom was very clean. Small kitchen is very useful.

United KingdomThis hotel has a great location as it is about 2 minutes away from a train station. This station can be used to go to the other Gent station (St Pieters) or even a train directly to Antwerp. The rooms are lovely and the staff are very friendly. The room also includes a fridge, hob and a kettle which are very useful for longer stays.

RomaniaEveryone was extremely nice except for one worker. We just felt like we were a burden for her just because we were tourists and we only spoke english. Everytime we went to ask for help or when we just wanted to buy something we got a cold treatment and we were definitely treated differently just because we were foreigners. It's a shame because everything else went well.
Our stay was amazing. The room was clean, we had a small kitchen where we could drink our tea early in the morning before exploring the city, the posibility to get the keys any time at the reception, the fact that there were snacks and necessary stuff on the floor with the reception. Very close to Gent Daamport train station, nice neighbourhood, close to a big Carrefour store. Gent is such a beautiful city, definitely a place I'd like to visit again ❤️ Over all, very pleasant!

United KingdomShowering was a struggle as you had to be careful with the water since I have experienced multiple bathroom floods resulting in having a big mess in the bathroom. The dishwasher in the room worked just fine except the fact it leaked multiple times aswell.
It was spacious, modern and clean. Very cosy environment to be in.

RomaniaThe breakfast could have more things. Also, the toilet paper all over the place is just one ply, you would expect more from such a place.
Pretty clean and the room was exactly like in the pictures. Staff were nice, the location is very close to the Dampoort train station, therefore very easy to get to Brugges and Antwerp.

United KingdomUnfortunately several of the TV channels we were interested in were unavailable due to no/poor signal but to be fair there were still more than usual. Not the fault of the hotel but there were a lot of roadworks between the station and the hotel that made the walk much trickier than it probably normally is. Beware speedy cyclists and mopeds!
Near to the station and a fairly short walk to the magnificent historic centre. The staff were excellent, the rooms were clean and provided decent kitchen facilities, we utilised the small gym, there was also table tennis and table football, and the bar looked good with outdoor seating available, although we didn't use it. The TV had YouTube and listed several channels that aren't usually available.

ItalyDinner too expensive, too few options and unclear whether it needs to be picked up at a food counter placed far away or not. Welcome drink. Nobody asks for a welcome drink. But if you offer one, it needs to be a real offer. It can't be that I order another beer and you say "sorry, only Stella Artois is included". For what? To save 0,50 euros cost between one beer and another?? Just don't offer the drink and you will avoid looking like uncle scrooge. Position close to canals and railroad, a bit complicated to get out of town from there
Nice little gym. Nice mini-cooking facility in the room
