Clean comfortable the rooms were large bathroom facilities were modern just a great over experience. Breakfast was nice with a little Garden and the staff are very friendly.

Room wasn't ready when we arrived over an hour after our check-in time. No lift meant it was hard lugging furniture up stairs. No air-conditioning so bit hot in the loft of the building.

Location is great. Hotel is stylish and smart. Welcome staff were nice. Family room worked fine for a family of 5.

Very hot in the family room at the top of the building, despite fans and it being a mild day. If windows were opened mosquitoes flew in. Some squashed mozzies on the walls which was gross.

Climb the stairs to our room, a maze to get there. We wrote in advance to book a parking spot and we got a confirmation, upon arriving couldn’t find the garage (it doesn’t have any signs), we parked in another location (paid) and upon check in she showed us where the parking was and when we got there, our spot was taking…I call and they said first I didn’t have one, then said it was overbooking. Disappointing as driving in Brugge is complicated and parking is limited, specially on a weekend and during summer.

Room was quite small. It would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room, I know it was available from reception but when we came in after eating out the reception was closed.

Parking was a problem due to us arriving in a van. There was no on-site parking for a van due to its height but also there was nowhere outside the hotel or anywhere near meaning we had to travel 25 minutes walk before finding anywhere suitable. We had some help from the hotel but it was limited. We had to throw our cases into the van when leaving or risk blocking the road as there was no where to stop and wait!

Loved the style of the property- it felt very unique. Tastefully decorated and good nod to the age of the hotel. It felt quirky and I liked that! Location was brilliant. Close enough to get to the centre with a 5 minute walk.

Because the staff was not present during th night we could not report the issue of the very noisy/agitated guest that came in the middle of the night and made it impossible to rest until the early morning (music, dancing, banging of doors, shouting, etc.). No mini bar (fridge).

Wonderful location, right next to the center of the city. Large and conformable beds.

No elevator, no conditioner. Nice outside space with tables, but they were dirty and had no pillows to sit on.

Nothing we did not like. We just want to mention that this property does not have a lift. It did not bother us as we only carried a small backpack for our trip to Bruges from Brussels.

It was a conveniently located in the heart of Bruges and within walking distance of all the other notable touristy places. We only stayed one night but had a comfortable sleep and the room had basic amenities that we needed. The breakfast was enjoyable and delicious!

The breakfast is very basic, but I don't believe we paid extra for it, so that was fine. I wanted to use the hot tub, but was unsure if it was available. All really was great though.

The location of the Black Swan is perfect - close to the main market square but on a quaint street. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage after we checked out. They called a taxi for us and printed our rail tickets. The room was very comfortable with a very modern "rain" shower. The beds were all comfortable. There was a very steep staircase to our room, but we kind of loved it!
