The passed out guy in the common room (at 16:00) outside my room and the smell in the room. The lack of availability of the staff within 30 minutes of checkin. I couldn't;t find anyone at reception or at the places listed on the door it was like no one worked there. If you have a problem there isn't anyone to help.

unfortunately hostel smelled nasty in the fourth floor, where my room was. the room had to be ventilated due to this odor. It had a musty, sulfuric rotten smell. mostlikely there is mold from the wood or something, the showers are in the third floor underneath my room. it smelled the same there as well. Had to pay 2.50€ for a towel. We wouldn't recommend it if you want to sleep cause the club on the other side of the street plays loud music all night long.

Location is literally in the center, breakfast was great, toast and lots of cold cuts, as well as cereals. choosen this location due to it's price and location

The room had an extremely strong chemical smell. Felt dizzy every time I went to the room. The room was by no means suitable for sleeping. Toilets were usually out of toilet paper and pretty dirty¨ Showers closed at night Bar was closed even though it was a saturday. The hostel was not really that social and lacked common areas for meeting other travelers.

Perfect location, litterrally on the main square. The hostel is located in a beautiful old building, at least the facede.

The showers only put out scalding hot water. The elevator was broken. The spiral staircase was harrowing. The other people were weird. Half the sinks didn’t work. The room smelled musty, was painted hot pink, and was decorated with a two large rainbow unicorns. A man came into the room early in the morning to put stacks of linens on the bed.

Just the location. The conditions were so bad at least it forces you to stay out of the room and explore the city. Antwerp is great.

If you are solo traveler be careful for the party in the hostel. The man outside of the door ask for 5 euro if you are alone!!!!!!! So sad

Very, very dirty place and only one toilet serving a whole floor. Not good.

Location is great, however, Antwerp's such a small town so it didn't make difference. Breakfast was very good though.

We literally couldn’t get into the hostel before 4 PM, we had to keep waiting outside with our bags in the freezing cold. The beds make a lot of noise. The shower water is BOILING HOT!!!! You could literally get burns and the temperature cannot be changed. The shower itself is also very bad. The facilities were quite dusty and the bathrooms and the men’s showers smelled bad.

The female showers weren't working. So we had to share the showers. Also, it needed a bit of cleaning.

You CAN NOT sleep at night! I go to a hostel to rest, not to party. They had a party for 2 nights with super loud music, couldn't sleep at all.

The hostel is above a pub, during the weekend is impossible to sleep due to the loud music and people screaming. Half of the showers did not work properly. Water was either extremely cold or extremely boiling.

The receptionist moved me from a 20-bed dorm to a 6-bed girls only dorm. Highly appreciated it!!!

The shower was cold. I stayed on a Saturday night so, around 11:00 p.m. I started hearing music from the bar downstairs. It was so loud that I couldn't sleep until morning. I knew the bar was downstairs, but I didn't realize how loud it was.... I also had to endure the snoring of a man.

The breakfast provided was very helpful. It was delicious, and a great option!

There was no any ladder to the top bunk of the bed!! It was just my case, the other beds in the room had ladders, but this problem was not solved (and even tried to solve) by personnel. Also it was too loud after 11 pm till 4 am, because there was a party with a loud music organized. The staff did nothing with this situation (although the hostel rules said not to make noise after 11pm). I could not fall asleep until the end of this party because of the noise.

Good breakfast. Nice location, right in the city center. Pleasant personnel.

Too much loud noise from the street at night, it always lasts until 3 AM. Showers are not that clean and hot water doesn't last for long.
