Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsConvenient location to the nearby clubs and also to take the tram to downtown Antwerpen. Free parking! Room was clean and big enough. You get what you pay for (which is a good price), so cannot complain about the fact that a fridge and water boiler would be nice to have. Staff was friendly; breakfast was a solid 10 out of 10! Points of improvement: extra power outlet at the bed. One is simply not enough. The water in the sink keeps flowing away when plugged. One of the two beds gave some noises. A little tray in the shower to put necessities on would be convenient.

ItalyClean and good value for the price. Personnel very kind and welcoming. Located in not the fanciest place in Antwerp, but if you have a car and you need a quite and close spot not far from the city center this is a good choice. Good international breakfast.

United KingdomNo kettle for tea/coffee in the room. There was also a ticking noise which kept us awake for a while - avoid room 109 and nearby rooms for this reason.
Comfortable room and good breakfast, though not exceptional. Convenient free car park in front of the hotel.

SwitzerlandIt is a bit noisy due to heavy traffic next to the hotel.
Very friendly personnel, nice warm rooms and nice simple breakfast (but you have everything you need). Though the view from the window is not the most beautiful, inside it is warm and cozy.

DenmarkExtremely well connected location, multiple ways to reach the city centre with a variety of public transport. The staff was very helpful and greeted us with a smile. We had access to the hotel lounge where we could get hot drinks and water for free. The room was spacious and comfortable.

CanadaThe road outside can be a bit noisy and the hotel doesn't look all that good from the outside.
We only booked around 11pm and requested check-in between 1-2am the same night, got granted immediately, and were greeted by a super friendly night manager (who even spoke flawless German!). Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the altogether really fair price and buffet style, nothing fancy, but proper. Parking was available for free further down the road, even for our big transporter. Access to the Antwerp Ring was quick and super easy

LuxembourgThe hotel looks a little bit outdated. Having said that, it's not run-down - so I can definitely live with it (and also it allows the price to be very good). The surrounding area also doesn't look brilliant, but it's OK - and there's some restaurants close by if you feel like having a bite.
Staff are very polite and helpful. For us the location was great since we were only on a short visit to Antwerp and we wouldn't have time to go to the centre. Rooms were decently sized, and breakfast was good. Overall it was good value-for-money.

BrazilThe location is great and the bedroom was very confortable. The breakfast was good and I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The parking is free where most of the hotels in the region you should pay an extra for it. I felt the hotel exceed my expectations. Nearby there are some restaurants and a cinema which you can reach on foot.

NetherlandsNothing really. I would have liked more options for breakfast, like fruits and nuts, and maybe a croissant. But quite ok for a one day staying. We missed one extra towel/bathmat. But that was not a problem. The area is a bit boring. And it was closed with some road’s construction work around, it made it a bit difficult to find.
Located close to the harbour, next to main public transport stops (tram, bus). Although it’s an industrial area, close to a cinema and some restaurants. We chose it due to its proximity to the Sportpaleis. So for one night was quite good. Beds are very comfortable, good breakfast. Clean. Also free parking. Staff personnel were helpful with info and tips.

RomaniaBreakfast was quite poor, and rooms very small, but this is all expected I guess from a 2* hotel.
Breakfast was quite poor, but I guess it's expected for a 2* hotel. We used this as accommodation for Tomorrowland and we took a taxi to get there and back: getting there was 50 Eur, return was 80. We only went one day, maybe if you're going for a full weekend it's not worth the money you're saving.
