Everything was OK. Private parking garage, friendly staff, not too far from centrum. Breakfast offered freshly baked waffles, but the waiting line was too long, so we didnt get to try it. Overall good value for money.

The price of the garage could be less for the hotel guests, but considering they let you stay a bit more covers it all.

The price per night was affordable and included a breakfast. We stayed with a child and there was enough room for all of us. The hotel staff was amiable and helpful. We parked at the hotel parking and took our car on the next day a few hours after check out, which was nice

There was a few bits of rubbish under bed and sofa otherwise room was clean. Chamber staff were very friendly. Restaurant area got VERY busy at Sunday breakfast - so not pleasant experience. Saturday and Monday morning was fine.

The breakfast was ok, there were no variety for each day. It was the exact same breakfast for all 5 days we spent at the hotel. The couch in the room was torn and outdated.

The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were spacious (I booked 2 rooms). Easy access to public stations (trams, busses, rented bicycles)

The hotel is located in a low emission zone. To drive a car, registration is required. The hotel does not warn you about this in advance.

The window in the room can only be opened at a very small angle and will often close at night due to a bit of wind. I ended up resolving this problem by jamming a paper cup in the window opening at night to keep it open. It would have been nice if there was a locking mechanism too keep them open or if the windows tilted vertically so this would not be an issue.

The breakfast was perfectly in line with what you might expect, with two nice bonuses being the waffle irons and a proper coffee machine instead of some powder based alternative. The room and bathroom were clean but also nothing special.

Check-in took ages. There was one person, he was serving drinks, making and serving food and checking in guests. It took a while. Also the checking in process itself seemed quite long.

Paid parking was available at +20€/night. Understandable as the hotel is located in the city centre. Since we arrive after 7pm and were going to stay for 1 night, we decided to park outside just in front of the hotel (at 3€ per hour), as after 9pm the outside parking was for free, until 9am the next day (you can pay in the parkmeter also for the next day). We only stayed until 11am, so parking outside was cheaper for us.

We stayed for 1 night at this very modern yet cozy hotel. Location was excellent, in the centre but not very close to noisy streets. Beds were comfy, good size room and no noise from adjacent rooms/outside. Great breakfast, including waffles (they give you the dough, so you just have to pour it on the waffle maker), many choices of bread, eggs, hams, etc.

Access to the hotel by car is a bit tricky, On my first visit I had to make a U turn because my GPS gave me the wrong directions.

This hotel is reasonably priced, with easy access by car. Car parking is provided, at a price. The room was not luxurious, but good enough considering the price. Bathroom was clean. Very good breakfast.

Arriving by car, we had a hard time to enter the hotel drop off area, which is directly outside the hotel. Even though I emailed and asked for detailed direction or map, I had no further information. On the google maps before our trip and also when we arrived, it was difficult to imagine that in order to pull in front of the hotel, car needs to enter a side road parallel to the main road with trams and heavy traffic, and then drive across a pavement towards an opening to a drop off. We were reluctant to drive on the pavement, which was quite broad, with no signs that this would allow access to car traffic, especially as you have people walking on it. The receptionist was trying to explain how to get to the hotel and how to access a car park, but this was still not very clear, so we ended up driving around a couple of times to try different way in. Eventually, we dared to drive on the pavement, offloaded the car and then proceeded to a paid car park. The car park is shared with other businesses but the hotel part is right under the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, there is only stair access between the lobby and the car park, which is why the staff advise to drop off any heavy luggage by the reception.

The hotel is clean and nice, hotel rooms are also very clean, beds comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast that is included in the rate of all Holiday Inn Express hotels, including waffles, which the guests are able to make themselves from the batter and waffle makers available. We were thrilled to discover and stroll around the marina that is directly behind the hotel, which was very nice, as we travelled from UK that day and were staying only over night to continue with our travels. We even managed to visit the interesting MAS museum at the other side of the marina in the morning, with its free viewing platform at the top, seeing the city of Antwerp and the harbour from above. Another pleasant discovery was the fact that the hotel has its own bicycles for rent. though they get booked up very quickly. We are thinking of making use of these at our next visit, this time for a few days so we can really make most of discovering more of the interesting city of Antwerp. We would use this hotel again, now we know the area better.
