How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There wasn’t anything that disappointed us
We were surprised to be offered a cooked breakfast in addition to all the other tasty items available. We were early so had a nice quiet breakfast, however, as we left there wasn’t a table free. I’d rate the breakfast 1st class based on the expectation of only a simple Continental breakfast being available.

I arrived late, the staff at the reception was really helpful. I enjoyed the selections of beers at the bar. Rooms were spacious, clean and bed comfortable.

Hygiene is at the lowest level. We found our clothes down on the floor. The staff is extremly rude.

Difficult to find the first time. Parking is not directly on the hotel property.
Brand new hotel, in a beautiful neighborhood with very beautiful and trendy buildings. In the surrounding area there is a beautiful park and a very good restaurant

There's nothing I didn't like
Very friendly and accommdating staff. Very Comfortable and clean room. Simple but had everything we needed. The hotel is very near to bars and restaurants and public transport. The city centre is only minutes away by tram or bike. Good value for money

I really liked the friendly staff, who gave us tips about the sights to visit, free coffee at the lobby and the superb breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels of the b&b chain and this hotel was so far the best.

The parking close by was €25 a day, which is quite hefty if you’re staying more than one night like we did.
The property was very clean, the staff were very friendly and the snacks available to purchase down at reception were great too.

No kettle in the room
The room allocated had a great view on the 3rd floor front of the hotel. The family room was very good, lots of space, nice and clean. Hair dryer was provided. The kettle was missing, however the hotel offered free coffee anytime from breakfast area, which was brilliant. The breakfast had lots of choices. Walking into the town takes approximately 20 minutes, following the tram line. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Agents seem to be listening to the issue but they didn’t show their proactivity to fix the problem.
The TV Channel list was empty we reported this at the first day and they promised to fix it but they didn’t. My kids were upset for spending 3 days without watching TV. The curtains do not cover the window behind in the TV.

The rooms are way to small. The price is too much for the offer. The breakfast area is also really small. Some days our hotel room was not cleaned.
Breakfast buffet was really nice. The Staff was polite and helpful.

WiFi connection (4th floor) poor. Bathroom way too small (family room) When it rains at night you can’t sleep! Metal window fences make it impossible to sleep (loud)!

The location was great for us since we always walk while traveling, so a 20-minute walk to the city center was easy. The room was very clean, staff was kind and helpful & generally the hotel was well-maintained. Note that the TV streaming services might not work - for us this was no problem since holidays are for other things besides watching Netflix, but if you’re different you might want to take your laptop or something. Bathroom is small indeed but nowhere near as dramatic as some of the reviews claim. Mega job for the cleaning crew, they definitely deserve a raise! Everything went well!

Everything from hairs in the sink of the bathroom to tv not working. And nothing including not even a welcoming water. Tv was supposed to be repaired but after asking for two days NOTHING. No Netflix no YouTube, bad connection of internet..

The location in the new part of the city is excellent and very close to the older core. It has excellent galleries, which are well known and frequented by local people. Otherwise, Antwerp is a beautiful and very manageable city. Accommodation comfortable, clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Despite the lack of the fridge, the staff will take care of anything small if you want to store it with them (medicines, yoghurt, etc). Breakfast is classic continental, you can find something for everyone, for a fee of 13,5 euros. If you like the quiet nights, there's no noise and you'll sleep calmly. The price of the accommodation is excellent in proportion to the facilities on offer, even the coffee is free. I didn't miss anything, so I highly recommend it!

My room was on the second floor, facing the entrance, it’s noisy occasionally.
In a new neighbourhood close to the river bank. The room is small but sufficient, simple and clean. Efficient checking in and checking out procedures. 24 hours free hot drinks in the lobby. Last but not least, super friendly staff.

The cleaners weren't too nice, never said hi and/or smiled back but at least they cleaned the room well so I appreciated that
I really loved staying at this hotel. The reception staff is lovely, they speak English very well and they're helpful. The breakfast choices were nice, the staff was working hard in order to keep the food topped up and also clean the tables/sitting areas. The hotel itself, inside and outside was very clean, its located in a very nice and central area as well. The room was a little bit small for the price I paid to be honest but it didn't ruin my experience at all! The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and had good facilities. They have this system that to help the environment, if you don't want your room to be cleaned every day, they will give you €5 voucher to spend in their bar/shop which I think is a brilliant idea. I liked everything in this hotel and I will definitely be back :)
