There was work going on in the home but that really didn’t hinder our stay. The work will only make the B&B a more desirable property for future guests.

The location was perfect for the places we had in mind to visit. But Kristof and Stijn were also helpful with recommendations. They really know the city. The property was very warm and comfortable. If we needed something, either owner was available to help.

Amato-Brugge was an unexpected gem. a cozy, peaceful, warm and inviting place right in the heart of the old centre of Brugge. Kristof and Stijn and their gorgeous dog Gucci are the most wonderful hosts, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Spotlessly clean and with an amazing view of the Belfry I highly recommend treating yourself to a stay here.

Our stay at Amato-Bruges was wonderful! Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the rooftops and bell tower. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Amato-Bruges is located in a quiet side road with very easy access to the main streets. Most of all, Kristof and Stijn were amazing hosts! They were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Amato-Bruges.

A lovely bed and breakfast, in the centre of Bruges but spacious and quiet. We stayed in the Belfort Room which had a fantastic view. Fabulous hosts Kristof and Stijn arranged breakfast at short notice which was amazing. Tea and Coffee provided with cake in the afternoon. Would highly recommend.

There is really not much not to like about this little gem, we liked everything!

Absolutely superb location, literally walk out the door and you are in the centre of the old city in less than a minute, yet in a quiet street! The rooms are already nice but about to be refurbished, and for sure will be very stylish judging by the refurbishment of the breakfast room. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast which is extra but well worth it, is excellent.

Our first trip to Bruges couldn't have been more wonderful thanks to a beautiful city plus this amazing B&B. There is so much to like and appreicate about it - the wonderful friendly and helpful hosting, the care given to creating a fantastic vegan breakfast, the welcome, the elegant and oh so comfortable room, the courtesy coffee and tea, the fabulous location right near the main square and close enough to pop back to drop bits off or have a quick rest. And Gucci, the dog, was definitely an added bonus. We can't wait to go back.

The lodgings were beautiful and comfortable, while retaining the charm of the old world ambience. The hosts went out of their way to help me and provide me with whatever I needed. The location was great - just one block from the famous Brugge center and clock tower.

I was so impressed with the level of service from the hosts. The room was beautiful, quiet and clean. The location was perfect also, very close to the sights. I would highly recommend this property.

The location of the hotel was in the middle of the city so we could have come and gone during the day, when we felt tired. The room was also so clean ☺️And special thanks to Stijn and Kristof for their kind hosting!

The attic room got a bit stuffy and warm and when we opened the windows we invited bugs into the room. But we also happened to be there for some unusually warm days, so probably not usually an issue.

Very nice lodging in the center of Bruges. While it's quite central, it's also on a quiet street, which is obviously a great combination. The hosts, Staijn and Kristof are extremely friendly and generous. We had the attic room which got a bit stuffy and warm but it was overall pretty comfortable. There's a fridge which has soft drinks, beer, etc... and an espresso machine. The breakfast they offerered was really nice, good croissants, cheeses, and meats, along with fresh squeezed orange juice. Very good value. Highly recommend!
