Location of hotel is in a multi cultural community that feels dangerous. People loitered at hotel entrance at all hours. Had no problem but safely was a concern.

Location was very close to the train station. Bar provided ice each night to cool drinks.

Good sized comfortable room and bathroom. Would have been better if it had a fridge. Just across the road from Gare du Midi so a great location when using Eurostar.

A little shabby, our bathroom could have done with a refresh, but everyone was polite and friendly.

Location was great - opposite train station for Eurostar. 15-20 minute walk to grand place etc.

We reached the hotel before 2 but the staff is kind enough to check us in. Its just a street away from the Bruxelles Midi station, very convenient to catch train even early in the morning.

Some English breakfast tea would have been nice. No kettle in room. Reception let us leave our bags on day 1 but then on the last day said we needed change in coins, which of course we didn't have. Area was noisy.

Breakfast was great, child liked the waffle maker. Easy to find our way as next to the station.

With such a large hotel in a very busy area of the city, it's understandable that the site should look less than 100% clean. Very unfortunate that this continues through to the lifts, corridors etc and to the views from the windows even.

Very convenient to the station, trams, subway.

Around hotel could be a mess, but I would say typical and nothing special compared to close location of Train stations in Europe.

Perfect location, right next to Metro and Train station. Many trains are coming directly from Airport to Midi station right next to hotel, it was very convenient. Also, direct metro to Atomium, Mini Europe, city center and other main Brussel atractions. Approx. 20 min. walk to city center. Clean rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very good hotel for the price.

It is a relatively minor point but I arrived early in the morning and my train home was late at night. I asked to store my luggage in the hotel before and after check in which I could do. However, the hotel charges you to store luggage in secure lockers. Using a small locker twice ended up costing 8 euros. Whilst this is not a lot in the grand scheme of things, I found it pretty insulting to have to pay for something that is free in any other hotel I have stayed in and which ultimately feels like a cheap way to make extra money.

Travelling on the Eurostar meant the hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from the station. This location meant easy access both to the centre of the city as well as trains to other cities in Belgium. The hotel was spacious and very clean. The room was excellent, a good size and extremely comfortable including the bed which gave a very good nights sleep. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast had plenty of options and was well stocked.

The only negative is lack of restaurants in the area. The Ibis has a very limited evening menu. We were told 'to be careful' in the local area, but never had any problem.

The area around and inside the station is frequented by homeless and drug users, and there is a need to be careful, especially at night. It is recognised as one of the most dangerous stations in Europe. While it is very safe in the hotel, I would not go outside after dark

    Very helpful staff.

Rooms feel a bit dated but you have to expect that for the cheap price.

Very good value for money, central location - right opposite the main train station and within walking distance to other neighbourhoods. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

The room I has this time was close to the place where homeless people gather at night, resulting in a lot of noise.

Be aware that the downstairs storage locker room is not accessible without a room key card. Bit of a trap!

Across the street from the train station, many public transport possibilities. Large and clean room. The staff were all nice and helpful. Two doors down is a Delvita shop and a great restaurant. We had our breakfast there. Lots of food to choose from , served buffet style. Will stay here again if visiting Brussels.
