This was no doubt an oversight, but the toilet had not been flushed. Hence the lower mark on cleanliness.

Position could not be better if using the Eurostar. The bed was comfy but the duvet rather heavy.

A return visit for us looking for a stopover for an early Eurostar trip to London the following morning. The hotel was very busy & hectic in Reception this time (we were later told that it was fully booked), but the staff remained unflustered, efficient & professional, & were just as friendly & helpful as on our previous visit. One of our 2 rooms wasn't available when we checked-in (we were early & this wasn't a problem for us) but we were able to move into the other one straight away, much to our relief! Our rooms on this visit were also extremely clean & well laid out for a short stay. The beds & pillows were super-comfy & the bathrooms were immaculate, with high quality toiletries to use. This would be our first choice hotel for future trips to Brussels: we liked the all-round good quality & thought it excellent value. It has an entrance inside the train station itself & this was a big plus for us when deciding where to stay. The Eurostar terminal is just yards away (& the hotel is almost next door to the station's Haagen Dazs outlet which opens at 6am - what's not to like?!). We didn't use the facilities or the restaurant so we cannot comment on those. Our experience at this hotel was a very positive one & we'd happily recommend it.

We don't have a single negative thing to say about this hotel & were very happy with our decision to stay there. We've read some negative comments about the hotel, but our experience was faultless.

We stayed for a 1-night stop-over for an onward train to Germany the following morning. The hotel's location to Brussel's Central Station was key in our decision - we could go into the hotel without leaving the Station. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were smart, friendly, efficient & helpful. We were very comfortable in the rooms we were given & felt that the price we were charged was appropriate. The rooms were very clean, the walk-in showers were excellent & a pleasure to use after our long journey, & the toiletries supplied were of a high quality, We enjoyed our stay there & opted to return on our homeward journey back to the UK. We didn't use the facilities so cannot comment on those & we didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment on the food. We would definitely choose this hotel on our future travels. We did request: high rooms, together if possible (we reserved 2), walk-in showers & view of the station - we were very pleased that all of our requests were met!

All is great. Just no food options in Room Service at night for those who arrive late.

Nothing, just be careful not to wander the wrong way in the streets as it’s close to a well know no-go area

No USB charging port in room!? I had to seek assistance plugging phone into TV back of wall-mounted TV The television in the room would occasionally turn off of its own accord. Bath/shower would not drain quickly enough when showering.

Staff at Concierge (especially Robert) were attentive and of great assistance in finding me a car & driver to take me on for a day trip to a WWII Memorial of significance to my family. Breakfast was generous and recommended.

I had problems getting the shower to work - gave up in the end and had a bath. The 50 euro deposit charged against damage. This is refundable if there's no damage to the room, and the fact that such a deposit is charged is made clear at the time of booking, but it is annoying, given the already high price of the room.

The hotel is very convenient for Brussels Midi station - turn right out of the Place Horta exit, and it is a few steps away. Friendly staff. Good choice at breakfast of cooked and continental choices. Breakfast during the week served from 6 am, which is convenient if one has an early train. Room was a good size, and a pleasant temperature.

One morning I did not have warm water, so the shower was "short"... The area is "up and coming" and gas greatly improved from past years, but it's still not that nice in case you are in town for pleasure.

The hotel is at the Gare du Midi, so very easy access from the trains. Great location for business meetings. Nice-size rooms and rather well appointed. Very good standard overall. Friendly staff and very clean. Both breakfast and lunch also very tasty.

Hotel is just directly connection Brussell-midi station, very convinent and safe for train travellers. Room decoration is specious and modern. Roomy to pack large luggages. Rececption staff is nice and efficient. Strongly recommend to travellers who would like to visit some small towns in belgium for several one-day trip.

The bathtub is high and slippery, be careful. The AC wasn’t working and I told staff but nothing happened.

Very clean and comfortable. Room nice and big and very comfortable bed. Just outside the station which was handy as I came by train and not very far from city centre (20 minute walk - 10 scooter or car). Nice breakfast.

The matress was very hard and I think it missed a top layer as I could feel all the springs. The bathroom had an outdated shower adaptor that didn't work well.

The room was furnished well, with extra seating and was quiet.
