How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very poor cleaning during the stay. Did not even throw out the garbage bins. Dirty coffee cups were left in the same place.
Good and central location. Big rooms with connecting doors for families with small children. Friendly and helpful staff.

Generally, we do not have any complaints with the property. If we have to nitpick, the carpets on our floor could have been cleaner -- they smelled a little funky. The toiletry bottles were a little tricky to operate at times -- it may be nice to check the bottles and the stock during regular cleaning. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for us.
It was a really nice experience for us at Radisson Blu Hasselt. We booked an early check-in, but forgot to mention our bed preferences online. When we found our allocated room to be twin-bed, the reception was extremely efficient in upgrading our room (at a nominal cost) to one with a king bed. The location is excellent -- within 5 minutes from the city center and a cluster of finest restaurants in Hasselt, and between two bus stops (within 8 minutes walking distance) on the inner ring. The room was really comfortable, clean and well maintained. We tried the buffet breakfast one of the days -- it was a decent spread. We tried the rooftop bar one of the nights -- it had a nice view and decent cocktail options.

Bed was ok, requested a larger bed and wasn't able to accommodate. The room is dated and worn, mostly in the bathroom.
The location is great, very convenient! The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful.

No hotel parking, but a parking garage with direct access to the hotel.

The rooms are very dark, so much so that trying to read with the spotlight on the bedside cabinet was impossible Getting in at the start, some instructions would be useful I stood for 10 mins pressing car park entrance to the lift waiting for someone to notice me on the camera, its really annoying when you've been travelling since 4am and you arrive at 6pm only to not be able to get out the carpark and into reception and your room
Location is amazing and breakfast is astounding, the lady on reception was a delight and the staff on breakfast met you with a smile that started your day right

The only disappointment we had was lack of drinking water. Most places we've stayed at had a bottle of water in the refrigerator but Radisson didn't have that.
The rooms are large enough and tidy. The staff was polite and welcoming and overall I had a lovely stay

Shower screens in the bathroom never seem to stop the water from flooding the bathroom
