Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was lovely, the room was a lot bigger than we expected and it was equipped with an amazing coffee machine. We had a car and the price for parking was reasonable. The location was also amazing and felt safe at night. Everything was clean, comfortable and perfect.

The room was nice, very clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The TV in the room welcomed me with my name, that was super nice.

I would have loved to have more coffee capsules at the room, but other than that, it was wonderful. I like that the hotel is so close to the Maalbeek metro station, and thus, close to the stop of the B12 bus, so it makes it convenient when one travels by plane and then moves around with metro lines mainly. The selection at breakfast is fantastic. I tend to eat smaller portions, and I loved that I had such a large selection to pick what I was eating. Even the selection of teas is expansive. (And you can take your coffee cup up to your room, if you want to.)

The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever come across. From the reception staff to the bar staff to the cleaners they were all so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was stunning and spotlessly clean, we looked forward to coming back to the hotel in the evenings it was a lovely warm hotel and we felt very comfortable here. Location is very good right beside a metro station making it very easy to get around.

The hotel is in the middle of the EU district, you can reach the EU institutions easily even by foot. Rooms are very clean and well equipped, staff is super polite, and the breakfast is perfect as well. When in Brussels, then always my choice number one.
