The room had old and damaged furniture. I had not heating system and have to look for alternatives. Tried three different to get something.

Breakfast was wonderful. The environment was nice in the middle of the forest and close to the entrance of the NATO Base.

The music was a bit of putting at the restaurant. For me it didn’t travel with the athmosphere and it was load.

Very friendy and welcoming staff. Prepared a large bed and a single bed so that my son had free choice where to sleep - he indeed went for both options ;) Very hidden and close to nature. You wouldn't say that you are close to Mons. Calm and no noise in the evening. Good restaurant in the own building and parking in front of the hotel.

I didn't like the smell of the room we had been assigned although it was clean. Furthermore one nightstand was absent ( ripped from the wall ).

Breakfast exceeded my expectations and the location, in the middle of an ancient forrest, is amazing.

The mattresses were a bit too soft but OK for a couple of night, had we stayed longer, I think it would have been a bigger issue. The pillows were very small. This probably sounds like a small matter, but over longer stays it can be uncomfortable.

The rooms were both of good size. Clean, comfortable, good bed size. Mattresses were a bit on the soft side for our personal preferences but OK for a couple of nights. On site breakfast was OK, not a huge variety but good enough for a breakfast before spending the day out. We went in late October, so the surrounding forest was already in autumn mode, all quite nice a beautiful but I am sure some of the other hotel facilities can be better enjoyed in summer. Our main reason to go there was to visit the Paira Daiza zoo, this hotel was in a perfect location to do so. Plus for me was the small gym, it had good enough basic equipment to clock a couple of workouts.

As others said the pool is shockingly green and un-useable so they may as well cover it up or just fill it in and take it off the facilities list! Shower could have done with a proper screen rather than glass view into the bedroom! They have put sticker up and shelf from wardrobe to add privacy but shower curtain doesn't stop water running around the bath edge then flooding onto the floor - why can't so many hotels get this right? Also disappointed to see a fault on the main fire panel in reception so some doubt whether it would protect guest should the worst happen - no idea how long it has been like that. Location a bit isolated so you need your own transport but restaurant was OK and not too expensive considering.

Breakfast was very nice, as was the evening meal (good steak). They do try to be a bit eco with rain water toilet flushing even if the bowl is stained. Plenty of free parking and surrounded by woodland so very quiet when we were there. We had normal room but they do have some funky looking cabins and tree houses as well.

The shower room needs a deep clean and some renovation. The heating made constant gurgling noises. Sound travels experienced an enthusiastic couple having fun at 0230! Hotel is unique but needs some money to freshen it up.

Location and style of the hotel was stunning. Beakfast was good. A little titivation would recommend staying. Interesting accommodation choices
